   I thought this was excellent for adults and children. My kids are 10 and 6 and wouldn’t normally enjoy a 75 minute walk, however the Wizard made it thoroughly entertaining. Laugh out loud funny for all and the best thing we did in York. Highly recommend.

   Fantastic … The best little adventure around York!! We went as a family of 3 (2 adults and a nearly 5 year old) and we were worried our little girl would be a bit young …. We had absolutely nothing to worry about … She loved it, as did we! It is comical, interactive, engaging, fun & very entertaining. It was worth every penny. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a tour of York. Would also recommend going for the wand option or buying the wand on the day, definitely adds to the tour experience. Thanks guy, we’ll be booking again!

   Family of two adults and a child and we all absolutely loved the York Wizard Walk. Our guide was the green wizard. He was brilliant with the kids, telling stories and jokes, Our 5 year old son never stopped smiling from beginning to end. The kids were involved in all his tricks but he did not forget the adults with jokes and interactions too. The route was fairly easy with no stairs or difficult areas. He ensured the kids got to the front at every stop and the short walks in between. The majority of the tour takes place in the pedestrianised areas of the city centre but there are some roads to cross. Our host was very careful to ensure the children were safe at all times as naturally they were all wanting to be at the front and talk with him as we went round. I felt happy with how he conducted the tour and had no concerns over the safety, not being right next to our son. This is a must if you are visiting York with children. Not only were there tricks and jokes but the tour was full of information that as a regular visitor york I was not aware of. We learned so much. The tour was so different to the usual York ghost style tours (Not knocking them, have been on them too). You also get a 10% discount at Loopy Scoops ice cream parlour as part of the tour.

   Genuinely a wonderful tour for anyone with kids who love fantasy, wizards or magic tricks...or all three like we do! We talked about it in the car all the way home on a 2 hour car journey - it was honestly a fantastic time and we all loved every minute! Phoenix was super endearing, funny and embodied so much wizardly energy that even we as 40 year olds BELIEVED this man is truly a wizard - not an actor. Just do it!

   This was an absolutely brilliant experience. We went on the walk with our 3 children - 6. 10 and 13 - and all 5 of us were laughing from beginning to end. The 6 year old was particularly enchanted. Fantastic magic and loads of laughs and a fabulous tour of some of York’s magical streets and landmarks too. I highly recommend this tour to children and adults everywhere!

   We booked the Wizard Walk of York for our daughter’s 8th birthday as we knew it would be a unique party experience. Our daughter and her friends are just getting into Harry Potter and, whilst this is not a Harry Potter walk, the wizarding theme fit perfectly. Our daughter is also very into magic, so it was right up her street. Communication from the Wizard was great from start to finish. He even adapted the route slightly to avoid the crowds of Christmas shoppers. The birthday bunch were a lively and somewhat hyper crowd of 7- and 8-year-olds but the Wizard worked with them fantastically. He was not at all fazed by their eagerness and kept them captivated and engaged throughout. The children had a great hour of fun, laughter, and wonder. Even us adults were left questioning how the Wizard performed his feats – that’s magic! All the children were beaming throughout and the feedback from both children and the parent helpers who joined us was incredibly positive.

   Wizard Walk of York What a great fun way to have a walk around York, fantastic family fun. Really enjoyed a relaxing hour or so being entertained. Great for all ages, take your sense of humour and couple of jokes too. Definitely get the wand pack for the children!! It’s lots of fun……

   Amazing private tour for a birthday party! The Wizard manages giddy children brilliantly. It's funny, intriguing and entertaining but he's brilliantly mindful to make sure no-one gets lost in what could be a busy city centre. Easiest party a parent will ever host! Wand kits are also a fabulous addition and alternative to party bags. Definitely recommend!!!
