Fish and chips was great but the place overall needs a revamp. Felt like I was in the set of an 80s movie. It looked so rundown. Lake was nice.

Great for a walk with your family or a jog. Nice view, nearby food places. Easy parking if you know where.

There's a great chippy near the car park and its a lovely walk round the lake. There's a playground half way and an ice cream stand. Toilets also available here. There are lovely views of the lake which is scattered with yachts

Magical place with loads of wild life around. Great place for a walk or a run at any time of the day. It does tend to get busy when the weather is nice. It's a good over 2mile walk right around. There's a little cafe on the other side of the lake and public toilets. There's many restaurants and a pub around if you get thirsty.

Live close too this lake owned by United Utilities lovely 2mile plus walk around cafe at the back not dog friendly but has outdoor seats,on the Lake bank there are pubs, chippy, cafe, and a more upmarket bar,The Beach pub allows dogs in. The visitors centre also has a cafe and there are events on throughout the year, main car park here as well. Children's playground also and another one on your walk around d the Lake. Easter always a fairground on Lake Bank car park.

A great place to go with all the family. There are cafe's, restaurant, ice cream parlour and even sell bird seed so the children can feed the ducks. It's great to sit and eat from a cafe or maybe a picnic that you brought with you. It's also a great place to go walking, for the novice to the very experienced hikers. There are water activities for those brave enough to try out new things, as well as being brave enough to maybe having a dumping in the very cold water. Or the whole family could go on a boat around the lake.
