“Staff are super friendly and helpful. Great space for courses and family events .”
“Kids had a ball, water was nice & warm, lots of lifeguards present, cool slide, lovely backdrop of the mountains, fantastic place! :)”
“We hired bikes for half a day including a toddler trailer. We absolutely loved it! The grounds themselves are beautiful and well kept. Customer service from booking to on the day hire was second to none. Easy to book, easy to communicate with and very friendly and professional on site. Would definitely recommend clear sky and we will most definitely be back to see what else is on offer. Great day out!”
“I was on the Mallorca training camp in May, 2024 with Belpark Triathlon Club and the guys from Primed Coaching. We had an amazing week of swimming, cycling, running and a lot of craic too. The camp was incredibly well organised and run. If you really want to accelerate your training and enjoy a lovely week in the sun then don't hesitate to book. Hotel and food were amazing too and completely exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend!”
“Highly recommended! The owner is super friendly, helpful and open minded. He helped us out when we couldn‘t find a place to stay and gave us some local advices for our last days in ireland. So happy we bumped into his place. All the best! :)”
“Brilliant hike from OTT car park. Accessible with laid out paths. Ground is mild underfoot with angular rocks. From ott walk toward the Mourne wall, then Doan is found behind. Great views over silent valley and lough shannagh. A 30ft rougher hike to the summit which might not suit all hikers. Doan is great for all ages. We spent 6 hours enjoying the trails and views, good access to the other nearby peaks following the Mourne wall.”
“My son and I had an amazing time at Castlewellan Forest Park on the e-bikes. The experience got a 10/10 from my son, which is high praise indeed. I would recommend Life Adventure Centre wholeheartedly.”
“Was very pleased with our time here . It's a well run facility”
“Beautiful area. You can walk around the lake and then stop for a coffee at the mobile cafe. Then make your way around the more formal gardens.”
“Nice atmosphere! Great nature. Peace maze is amazing”
“This is a beautiful boardwalk out to the beach..one word of warning..check to go at low tide! We arrived at high tide and had a very uncomfortable stony walk towards Newcastle. This had to be abandoned as the tide was so high, it was up against the steep stony boulders bordering the golf course.”
“Prepare yourself with the right walking shoes, a picnic lunch, jackets in case you get cold. Tons of places for a picnic lunch. Great little magic moments throughout. Lots of views and sounds of streams and rivers. Some small plaques explaining the history pieces. Fantastic assortment of large tree varieties, wish they had the botanical scientific names in front of many of the species as they are very unique.”
“Brilliant place, worth walking, super fresh air, stunning views”
“Went to Bloody bridge on the way”
“A wonderful beach with a great Tower House across the road from the car park!”
“Very lovely beach. Wide and deep. Brilliant views from the coast. Small playground by the car park. Car park it self is small with spaces for maybe 15 cars but more parking opportunities along the ciast. Clean, tidy, well kept. There's a wee coffee trailer at the car park but it closes at 5pm and very often they only take cash. In all very good place to chill and relax if the weather permits.”
“I cannot say enough about how much we love Rostrevor Holidays!!! A true home away from home for us!! We have stayed here on multiple occasions, and Didi has always bent over backwards for us!! Will absolutely be back again the next time we are in Ireland!”
“Nice park for a walk, with different level routes. There is playground for children so everybody is happy ;) Also you can get coffee and some food and they have toilets. I was here socond and not the last time. Enjoy the walk and don't miss the black routr as we did ;)”
“It’s one of those places where you choose your tree. If you are a bit more adventurous, then venture into the adjacent woodland and enjoy absolute quiet and wild. Follow the trail and hiking paths but watch out for mountain bikers.”
“Views are unbelievable worth the climb. Bring water and food supplies ..”
“An exceptional and amazing forest to visit. Native Ancient Irish woodland and with only 2% coverage in Ireland a real gem. Some of the trees are truly majestic. Bought by the Woodland Trust in 2021 it is due to open to the public summer 2022. A truly amazing place.”
“We had fab weather for it. Took us a good 20 minutes of wondering around to get to the middle. We were told there was a bell in the middle to ring but it doesn't seem to be there anymore. It was €5 to park in the car park and then we could walk around the grounds as we pleased. The lake was gorgeous also”
“Lovely, clean campsite with great facilities & in the most beautiful setting”
“Beautiful park for sports, walking dog / dogs, ideal place for family time - camping and paddle board, kanoes, kayaks available for rent.”
“You can walk hours and hours. See at a distance a seals colony. Is so big that even there could be a lot of people there is room for everyone. Easy. But please check for the tides to make the best of it.”
“The camping spaces have plenty of room and are close to water taps, toilets and showers. It is very well maintained and the views and walks are lovely. It is a dog friendly campsite which is a bonus.”
