   It's absolutely stunning. A beautiful beach we didn't have our swimming gear otherwise we would have had a swim. Clear water and light grey sand.

   This was a quick visit as it was getting dark and heavy rain, and we only discovered it in passing (I stopped after spotting the nearby castle!) However it is worth a longer visit and there is a free car park with picnic benches and information boards.

   A lovely quiet beach around 40mins' drive from Belfast. With soft sand and clean water this is the perfect spot for a stroll and swim. Kids will enjoy playing with the sand. The only drawback is the lack of toilet and washing facilities.

   Gorgeous place, plenty of parking and picnic tables; first time I’d stopped while passing here and thankfully I had the entire place to myself on a beautiful day. I’ll certainly be visiting again in future.
