Great little wood for dog walking! Short but lovely!

A pleasant place to walk. The paths are well maintained, although sone of the trails aren't suitable for those with mobility issues because of steps along the paths. There are benches to sit on scattered around the walk. There are also plenty of birds to be seen, for example, Great Tits, Blue Tits, Bullfinches, Chaffinches and Chiffchaffs. There are also butteflies and ladybirds to be seen in Spring and Summer. We saw no litter which is nice but some inconsiderate dog owners have left dog mess in the grass verges rather than using the bins at entrance. There is plentiful free car parking at the entrance. Overall, in my opinion, this is a nice place to visit if you live locally or are passing by.

Love visiting here, especially since it has expanded both the trails and the car park. No problems parking anymore. Dogs are welcome on a lead and there is a bin at the entrance for poop bags and any other rubbish.

Brilliant space for walking the dogs, I'd never been till recently and will definitely go again. Brilliant area for parking the cars too.

Great little wood. Nice walk and my dog absolutely loves it. Seems there are quite a number of dogs like it too as there is dog mess everywhere for the first few hundred meters. Owners obviously couldn't care about this nice place. No bins at the minute so bring your poo bags home for disposal.

Nice short walk, dogs on lead. Only bin is beginning of walk. Car park across road facing entrance. Fairy doors keep kids interested

Absolutely beautiful place, paths are great even for someone with a disability, different lengths of walks. Could use more seats around the woods. Sadly its been used by many dog walkers who don't know how to use waste bags, giving that the wood trust has a bin at entrance, maybe if they put bins around woods people would not only use the bins instead of trees, hedges etc but pick the dog waste up. There are children who go to the woods and it's very dangerous for them if the pick it up, it can lead to blindness. I love dogs but it isn't fair to other walkers or the wood trust who are providing such a lovely place to go too.

Fantastic place to walk or run. Parking currently on the road. The only down side is the irresponsible dog walkers who fail to clean up after their beloved pets.
