Gorgeous park! Has a big coffee shop and a wee coffee trailer. Museum tells the story of the waterworks, tunnels and dams. Huge smooth steep lawn to roll down! Sledding after a snowstorm?? Lots of short and long hikes from here.
7 miles from carpark to 2nd dam and back again, loved it mostly flat ground or very slight gradient, o ly hard bit was climbing the stairs up to the top of the 2nd dam but one Hella view!
Nice park for a walk, with different level routes. There is playground for children so everybody is happy ;) Also you can get coffee and some food and they have toilets. I was here socond and not the last time. Enjoy the walk and don't miss the black routr as we did ;)
It is a fantastic place to camp. We were right beside the river. Always kept clean. Security walks around at night time. It has a good restaurant and bar. They have a hob beside the sinks, it's €1 for 20mins. Showers are €1 for about 6mins.
Beautiful place to enjoy walks, runs,cycling and start of many a good hike. Play area and coffee shop, picnic benches. A place for all to enjoy and if brave enough search out the secret waterfall. Toilets were spotless clean.
Absolutely stunning place for walks and hiking. I went up to the Ben crom reservoir and it was stunning. So peaceful and clean, definitely one of NI's beauty spots ❤️
Good place to visit for treks and views. The mountain back drop is spectacular and the reservoirs are very impressive. Nice views and walks ,with signed trails. Public toilets on site and a cafe. £5 per car, parking a short walk to the reservoirs.
Firstly there is a parking fees of £5 for cars, but I would say its totaly worth it. There is 3-4 trails here for trekking. The smallest one is good for even the stroller for your wee ones. There are trails for a good walk around the reservoir or for walking near the hills. The view is mindblowing. There is a cafe for refreshment. We enjoyed our day here
Beautiful place, the peace and silence is indescribable. It's literally called silent valley for a very good reason. Multiple routes to walk, fantastic scenery and a little coffee shop to warm the hands in cooler weather. Brilliant!
