Car park close to the beach, £4 to park, nice to see that proper toilet facilities are being built. I’ll not be back anytime soon though as the dog fouling is an issue.
Lovely clean beach, it gets very busy! We went in the evening and it was still packed on a hot summers day but we were able to park in the car park and find a spot. The only thing to note is that they currently have port a loos and the time we went (after 60pm) only one was open. Which i found out in the queue that all had been opened earlier in the day. So I would recommend bringing wipes/sanitizer ect for that reason.
Great parking facilities, with added bonus of toilets. There were also ice cream vans on the day we visited. Relatively clean ! Although the public bin was over flowing.
Quiet large beach with fine sand and grassy dunes. £4 parking fee (car). Ideal for families
Beautiful and peaceful. Went today as the weather turned out to be unexpectedly warm and sunny. Was surprised to see lifeguards. Love this beach, so clean. For those who don't know it's £4 entry to the car park in the summer, I don't the know times they charge from and to.

Fabulous sandy beach that goes on for miles, clear water and beautiful view of the Mourne mountains. Great place to relax and unwind
Love going to Tyrella, easy enough to find, plenty of parking and only a very small charge around £4 per car on the days when they do charge. It is always clean, a nice place for a walk along the beach or up through the grass dunes that have walking paths cut through. There are toilets onsite and while a life guard is not always on duty, there is signage that states if they are currently on duty so you know whether to enter the water or not.
Lovely clean beach with gentle slope onto the sea. RNLI on duty, very safe for families.
