“I’m a regular customer and have used Bridge taxis for 4+ years. I use the taxis to get to and from events with a lot of luggage for my business. The female controller has always been amazing, whether it’s ensuring I get a car big enough, or getting a car to me as soon as possible if I am stuck. I have struggled a few times over the years with unfortunately drivers leaving meaning there might not be a big car available when I needed, but again the controller has always done her best to help. Car number 7 - I cannot speak highly enough of him. He goes above and beyond his role as a taxi driver, and helps me with loading and unloading, his service is exceptional. Today, I had the pleasure of having the new owner drive me, he was lovely, and again, exceeded my expectations of what you’d expect from a taxi driver. His plans for the business are great, and with him in charge, I can only expect to see Bridge taxis go from strength to strength. I look forward to seeing the taxi firm thrive under new management. I prefer using the app to book a taxi, although when pre booking a taxi for a future date it takes the full estimated fare, maybe they could pre authorise a small amount to verify the card. Or release the money back once verified.”
