   I booked a 6 seater taxi around 9am to pick us up at 13.45 the same day. When I phoned at 13.50 to ask where our taxi was, I was told that they had no 6 seaters available So my booking was cancelled. Why did no one contact me to say that before my booking time. This made us late, and ended up having to use another taxi. Really poor customer service. Not happy at all.

   I needed a taxi for a hospital appointment one morning so booked in advance through the app. The taxi arrived a couple of minutes early. The driver was friendly. He took the best route. Very happy with the friendly and efficient service.

   Taxi failed to turn up for 8 persons travelling to a wedding. Called them 3 times over 30 minutes to hear it would be another 10 minutes. Last phone call the operator was giggling and we had to abandon the booking and take cars. Extremely poor attitude and zero service. Definitely do not recommend. So after being requested to see an email I did and no reply after 3 days. Clearly email has been deleted or ignored. Unbelievable poor service. So still no reply despite sending the email twice. This company does not care whether you have a bad experience. Them asking for an email explaining the issue is all fake. Worst service ever

   Great taxi service from Oakwell. Friendly, reliable drivers and great app with option to pay by cash or card. Also have a rewards scheme to you build up a free journey every so often.

   Appalling service, booked a taxi in advance for a specific time and it doesn’t turn up. Told on the phone sorry we are busy. Why offer the service if you cannot allocate cars to deliver at that time. Rang 3 times to be told sorry another 5-10 mins, we are busy. So 1.5 hours after originally ordering and 30 mins late for time of pick up!!

   I use this rank every time. The drivers are mostly very polite and sociable. In everything you get odd one that doesn't even speak. All in all an amazing company. By far best price around. Totally reliable

   Have to book with them because the company has got a monopoly. The taxi is consistently late causing problems for me at work. Kirklees needs to consider how the firm is behaving and abusing their monopoly status.

   Absolutely horrendous company, waiting times were too long at all my local taxi companies in Huddersfield so rang Oakwell to ask if they had any drivers in the area, they said they’d be 15 minutes. 20 minutes later got a call from an operator saying the taxi was no longer available then was told it was a mistake and someone would be with me in 5 minutes. Got a dispatch notification through finally and was told my taxi was 25 minutes away. Rang and told them the situation and the operator was really rude and sarcastic. I understand they’re not local to me but they should have just said no instead of giving 3 different times which resulted in me almost missing a coach down to London. I used to use Oakwell all the time but the service has been horrendous the past year or so and taxis never show up on time. Honestly stay away from them.
