Tried out Bourne Outdoor Swimming Pool for the first time yesterday, really liked it! The two young lifeguards were super friendly and welcoming. The water was cold but totally fine with the weather being 23°C. The pool’s a nice size, especially for someone like me who’s not the best swimmer. It feels more relaxed and fun than the one in Peterborough, which is a bit more formal with all the pool lining. Water quality seemed alright too. Just make sure you check where to park before heading over!

Very good pools. Friendly and helpful staff life guards. The pool is a bit cold. But once you get swimming actually feels warm. At £7 a time plus 50p for locker key. Very good value for money. A very good length. Good for swimming. And also can relax around the pool. Lots of seating benches sun loungers and grass areas for relaxation. The changing rooms are ok. Needs more showers. But overall a very good swimming pool.

Good place. Clean toilets. Cool water which is perfect for hot days. Serve coffee, milkshakes and good. Planty of picnic tables. Free parking. Not allowed to take pictures there.

Ruined by a bully lifeguard with a control complex. Lifeguard in question is fairly young with brown medium length hair and short beard with black frame glasses. Seems to get a thrill when telling people off, being condescending, and generally being rude. Several families directly in full control of their children being told off for being over the 1.2m line. Asking for proof that the children can swim the full length and embarrassing them. I could understand if parents were just leaving their child to swim on their own, but I’m taking about parents actively watching and holding their children. If a parent tells you their child can swim, it is not for a lifeguard to dictate this and ask for evidence. He was shouting at loads of different people and spent more time shouting and less time assessing safety within his remit. Won’t be returning until we know he is no longer employed. Pool was also very cold and not heated today, making the entry prices seem quite expensive for a run down pool facility.

Visited the pool on a very hot day. It was very busy. The water was cooling. Life guards were on duty and really aware making sure patrons were safe. The pool if nice. Feature a shallow end and a deep end ideal for diving and bombing. Lockers available. Changing area and toilets basic and functional. Negatives. Not much shade, quite a small grass area. Ice creams expensive. The pool water got quite dirty by the end of the day. Staff were really friendly. Very local pool feeling. £15.00 for a family ticket.

Loved loved loved it. Really great for families, children's pool and small fountain pool, massive pool for the swimmers and people were actually allowed to have fun, diving in, jumping in, inflatables allowed and everyone genually enjoying themselves. Small refreshments area where you can order hot food, if required, drinks , ice cream, sweets. You can even take a picnic to keep the costs down. Reasonable entrance fee and , if you choose, you can stay all day, swimming, relaxing and just enjoying seeing people have fun. Water was clean and an all round great experience. I would highly recommend visiting Bourne Lido, an inexpensive fun day out for ALL

What a gem of a place!! First time we visited and the weather was amazing so even better. Great size pool, loads of space to sit around the pool/grass so didn't feel overcrowded even though it was busy. Reasonably priced food and drinks on site but you can being your own. We will definitely be back during the summer holidays. If only it was nearer to us!

Great place, pool is huge but is very cold sometimes even though it is apparently heated. It could do with a few more showers but it's an old building and we are just happy to have it on our doorstep. Friendly staff, great little food shop and always clean. 5 stars from us
