“Well kept and safe and secure. Council keep the park looking lovely, spotless and litter-free. Be careful of the security man who locks up and keeps the park safe because he nearly knocked a child down once after the Moira junior Parkrun.”
“Lots of walks all on the flat and plenty to see. Great children's play park and picnic tables near the visitor centre. Also a lovely sensory garden with great wooden animal sculpture. There are two hides for those interested in birdwatching. There are also two cafes, one at the visitor centre and one at Kinnego Marina”
“Great venue, all seated tiered so great view for all to see. Bars and toilets easy access. Saw a great gig. Easy to leave after the gig”
“Lovely waterfall which is right next to the carpark. The soothing sound of the waterfall relaxes your mind. A very good place to take amazing pictures.”
“Went in to the centre today to renew my Better Adult Senior Res account that had expired over a year ago, hadn’t a clue how to renew it online. The young girl on the reception desk was very polite and helpful in getting my account sorted and the app running again on my phone. Can only say this young lady is a credit to Andersonstown Leisure Centre.”
“Great place for a dander. Good walks on level ground.”
“I love to walk among the trees in this park - so many memories. Lovely coffee”
“Wow, what a busy bustling place and so much on offer . International foods, art, fashion, antiquities, kids stuff, jewellery....the list goes on. We spent a happy hour or two just wandering and listening to the sounds.”
“Big and beautiful park. Here are a pond, playground, football field, a lot of benches. It’s a nice location for a cozy family picnic as well. Public WC is available”
“One of the best experiences at Xmas to do been wanting to go here for so long, didn't disappoint kids loved it, magical makes u feel like Christmas is here, get urself down there”
“We both love a wee rest and coffee in the park, Sasha loves to bimble about and people watch.”
“Brilliant views, well kept area of the coast. Wonderful for a dip in the sea if you're brave enough! Kudos to the ones that are, especially on new years day”
“Haven't been here for a while and we hit it on a day when luckily enough the tide was out. We were able to reach the island but beware, if the tide has just gone out the causeway can be quite slippery. It gets better as it dries of course. Great scenery but sad to see empty beer cans and plastic bottles way out here as there are plenty of litter bins back at the well kept car park. There are also plenty of seats and picnic tables. Definitely a nice walk but only if the tide is out.”
“Finally visited the last WWT centre I had yet to see. There are the usual attractions for families, an excellent cafe and shop and plenty of hides. Not the best time of year to visit but we saw plenty of waders. Highly recommended if you have any interest in birds and/or little people to keep entertained.”
“Do you Enjoy sound of sea waves? If yes, please visit this. You will enjoy it a lot. You can come here in the translink number 2 series bus. It's a calm place, many people jogging there, some playing with their pet dogs.”
“Spent a perfect first night in our campervan here after staring from Dublin ☺️ Nice view, very quiet and also quite even parking slots. Public toilets were also fine!”
“One of Craigavon's gems. Fantastic leisure facilities. The cafe in the South Lakes Leisure Center is worth a visit. Nice views and walks.”
“First time here today with my friend and I must say I loved it! Place was spotlessly clean and the pool was the perfect temperature. Cannot fault the place at all. There’s a lay-by 10 mins walk up the road, best place to park. I will 100% be back!!!! Highly HIGHLY recommend.”
“I took part in Paddy's spin class on Tuesday. It was a fantastic class-really well structured and thought out.It was just at the right level-not too hard and not too easy. Everyone throughly enjoyed the class .Hope to see Paddy taking more classes in the future.”
“We went to a lot of museums while in northern Ireland but this was probably my favorite. The man who gave us a tour was upbeat and very helpful.”
“Lots of parking and lovely walk along the beach towards the caravan park. Water was warm too!”
“Leisure center with golf course attached and driving range. I dont golf so no help there. Small gym upstairs, has everything you could want from free weights to static machines to aerobic machines. Do come classes. Generally I just do a spin class there”
“Great stay at Cordia apartments. Convenient location with a bus stop very close outside which takes you directly to the city centre. Basic straightforward accommodation at a reasonable price. Varnika and Nadine were really helpful and very responsive to any queries. Very impressed by the service.”
“One of my favourite parks.i love walking the dog round here especially in the autumn”
“Brought my granddaughter to the park today, Sunday, and it was quite busy. I haven't been to the Falls park in about 30 years and was pleasantly surprised at how it is well maintained and great facilities for disabled and able bodied alike. Will be back in the near future im sure.”
“Awesomely me place to visit if you get the chance, the building is something to behold, first view literally takes your breath away. Once inside there’s lots to do and see, the exhibit is amazing, lots of history and a great story.”
“Amazing place for drink with friends, not busier but silent place for gossip etc.”
“Beautiful for a lovely walk with the family, there are wee walk ways onto the water to feed the ducks or swans the swans have just had their babies the kids loved it. plenty of benches available for a seat, seen loads of family's on bike rides also.”
“I was actually here, car park 9, for my PCR COVID test so never got out off my car. A very efficient service.”
“Great wee site. I will definitely come back. Stunning walks. Site is clean but the toilet blocks need updating. Toilet and showers need more attention with cleanliness. The carpark at entrance is full of travellers, not that it bothers me as they are no trouble. It's just annoying that we pay for a site and they dont but use the facilities. Door code to Toilet block not working right either. These are reported on but no action taken.”
