Overrated. Tonnes of kids running about, chaos. Many cells weren’t free to use as were occupied. Not designed for teams of 2 as you cannot complete or get any points in some of the cells, should be minimum groups of 3/4, especially at over £30 a head for 90mins. Cells are mostly designed for young kids, simplistic, cheap, with actions like touching specific buttons, colours or shapes, with minimal cognitive or physical difficulty. Most were very poorly designed or made no sense, and some arbitrary - such as guessing correct colours or sequences. Wasn’t a broad experience, just button-pressing or colour matching. Young adults and above looking for puzzles that require reasoning or teamwork may find it underwhelming. No staff involvement within the games - automated, no active facilitation, not immersive. Otherwise staff were lovely. Should be a fiver a head to be worth it.

Went here with some friends with the Axe Throwing bundle and it was amazing. So immersive and each room was so different and had a great range of difficulty. Our staff member helping us was Kelly and she was so funny and so good at our safety briefing. Kelly helped us take photos afterwards in the lobby and got us set up so quickly. Brilliant staff and a brilliant experience, highly recommend. The time flew by.

This was such a fun activity! Would really recommend doing this with friends of family. We had so much craic, was genuinely the funniest thing trying all the different challenge rooms. The staff were really friendly and helpful which made the experience even better!

Such a fun experience I’ve been 3 times now and tried all the different activities you can do. Today I did axe throwing, it was great fun.

Just out of one of the funniest experiences ever. Myself and two friends “tried” to beat the prison system at Belfast Prison Experience. The cells were packed with brilliant tasks for all. Steven, one of our prison guards even joined in the fun in the tilt room which was definitely our favourite. He along with all the other friendly staff ensured we had a great time from the second we walked through the front door. It’s obvious they love what they do. The price was very reasonable for the experience and you could tailor your choice of cells to suit your personal preferences. Highly highly recommend a visit if you are in Belfast and looking for a bit of competitive fun.

It was a great experience and fun for all ages. It’s really tests your mental, physical and teamwork skills. It is great for date night, family trips, or just friends. There were plenty of options with different levels of how easy or hard the cells would be. It is great value of money and plenty of time given for each cell. The staff were also very helpful and friendly. It was easy to get to with parking spaces available.

Fantastic fun! Not your typical escape room.. you can leave the cells anytime; but also can do the same challenges as many times as you like! 25 different cells with a variety of challenges. Great day out!

Myself and my 3 teenage children went here for the first time Wed 6th July. We weren't really sure what to expect. There were 25 rooms with different puzzles in each one which you got a certain amount of time to complete. We weren't very good at most of them lol but we really enjoyed trying and I'm sure if we went back a few times we would get better. When we first started it was pretty quiet but it got busier and we missed out on a few rooms as in my opinion there were too many groups in at the same time. Really enjoyed and would go back but maybe a bit earlier in the day. We were there at 2pm.

Visited this place for fun activities for the first time and found it to be quite good and entertaining. Some of the challenges are quite tough and they'd become easier if you read the rules and try understanding them before you entered any challenges or prison room. The mathematical questions are quite tough and definitely a rún through Roman numerals, geometry would be helpful. Recommended to visit!
