Well located off the A48/M4, easy to find with superb parking. It's a little different to some of the other IKEA stores around the country. The restaurant is large and whilst serving identical meals and drinks to the other stores it has a relaxed and comfortable feel with pleasant seating for the tired shopper to rest their weary limbs. The coffee is free during the week with an IKEA family card which is a small bonus. Elsewhere, the bargain corner is quite small but still has the occasional "good buy" but not a lot of rugs or returned mattresses and furniture. I can't fault IKEA for their products. The variety is amazing, and in most cases astonishingly good quality at very affordable prices. It's not just budget furniture for student accommodation or "buy to let" homes. There is real solid wood construction to be found and some very high-end dedign. I suppose some people have a negative view of IKEA that they can't get over.

It’s IKEA, they are all the same! However when I went back to return some items the queuing was a long wait.

I mean it's IKEA so that traditionally for me has meant a few good bits but mostly stuff that looks good in a student flat. This visit however they have some mid century looking pieces and some nice kitchens etc. sofas that were actually comfy, all that really could look good in an older more grown up property. They had some nice bits in all departments which for my taste I've never seen before. We had lunch there 12 meatballs mash jam, a salad bowl, garlic bread, apple cake and whipped cream and a latte for around Β£12 each it was fabulous. You get to pick a plate of desert from a cabinet, as well as a salad bowl and the guys serve the mains. The hot drinks are from a machine but they are tasty. We did cave a bit and ordered a couple of sofas, which have a 2 day delivery, some plates and cups and a vase and a display case. It seems to have grown up this season.

A very large shop and the only IKEA in Wales. The shop sells a wide variety of things for the home, including furniture, soft furnishings, bedding, storage boxes, crockery and kitchen utensils, lighting, rugs and much more. Most of the parking is underneath the shop (very useful on a rainy day) with some disabled spaces and electrical vehicle charging spaces located near the shop entrance. There are lifts, stairs and escalators providing access to the main shopping floors. The second floor is home to the main furniture showroom with the rest of the shop accessed via the first floor. If you don't want to look around the showroom, you can access the shopping area directly from the first floor (behind the stairs). If you are looking for anything in particular, I'd recommend checking stock online before visiting. The website will tell you whether the item is in stock here, how many they have and where they are located. They also have computers available at the main furniture warehouse which you can use to search for any items you need to find. The IKEA app offers a useful'scan as you shop' which is very useful to speed up checkout at the self-service tills via a dedicated express checkout. The shop includes a small restaurant and cafe (where IKEA Family members can claim a free hot drink), a small shop selling a selection of mostly Swedish food items and snacks and a children's crèche.

Just love this place can spend hours looking the the collection of household appliances and the place is huge. The canteen is very affordable worth more than the money we pay. The ambience , collection, helpful staff, easy to get around , systems to guide where we can find the items , cost , food will score this place 8 out 5 and nothing to complain about. Thank you ikea for making our visit a pleasant one every time we visit.

Nice store. However, IKEA is quite overrated. I noticed, you've to be selective with what you buy in IKEA and probably sometimes mix their products and services with others, for example when it comes to bespoke kitchen or wardrobe. Their products are competively priced but quality is a little compromised. And other items such as sofas, beds, mattresses are not great quality, nonetheless over priced.

Loved my visit there with the wife, we browsed the whole store as IKEA makes you do that, not complaining as I really enjoyed it, so many unique rooms to look at. We ended up buying the best value for scented candles I have ever seen Β£1.75. Great value for money. Will be going back.
