   Used to be a great place to see bands, but seems they've cut a lot of corners. Sound is not great and the bar is usually massively understaffed. Really disappointing to lose another venue n Cardiff

   Was once the best venue in Cardiff. Unfortunately since the redevelopment it has switched to one bar which causes a huge bottle neck for the whole show. Bands are literally playing to a queue and it's such a shame. The sound has also been completely sacrificed, if you're not in line with the vocalist/whoever is in the centre of the stage then prepare to not really hear a thing. A real shame and big loss to the city

   Excellent venue, great atmosphere and lovely bar service. Even has an upstairs view with seats which was amazing. Can't wait to see another show again.

   Nice looking venue that hosts a lot of metal bands but their house audio system just isn't up to the task. Complete wash of high end that sounds like it's being put through a 1950's compressor, been to several gigs at Y Plas and the sound engineer doesn't seem to make a difference.

   Saw Sleep Token there, 19th November. Impressed with the venue. Clean. Cider was £4 a pint. Not bad really.
