1. UTILITARIAN TV ★☆☆☆☆

   Went to this store to buy trainers for both my daughters. Unfortunately, my 4 year old was desperate for the toilet. I asked one of staff if there was a toilet but he said, 'no'. I pleaded with him if we could use the staff toilets as it was an emergency. He said 'no' because of 'safety'. Safety? What's in there, have they been flushing baby crocodiles down the toilet or is it booby trapped with a giant rolling stone? She ended up wetting herself and I had to leave with no trainers. I appreciate that it's probably policy but surely in an emergency an exception can be made.

   I didn't want to write a bad review, but today I decided to do it, after another visit to the store I want to say that lately there has been no good attitude towards customers. They can sell shoes with defects, when I saw them at home, I immediately returned to the store the same day, they told me that they did not consider these shoes defective, although the insole was damaged. I just wanted an exchange for the same shoes, without a defect, they fed me with promises that they would order them, since they could not return the money. I came twice, on the day that the manager indicated, when she said to come a third time, I got very angry and took the voucher that they offered, because they did not return the money. Today I noticed that after two weeks they did not have new sizes, and in the window there were the same damaged shoes of this size. When I tried to choose the right size, no one helped me, and the manager and her saleswoman friend looked at me unpleasantly. I do not recommend this store, be careful when choosing a purchase, if you notice a defect at home, no one will refund your money!!!! The manager (woman) does not know how and cannot solve problems with the client, the two employees I saw there were more busy communicating with each other all the time.

   Terrible customer service in this shop these days. More focus on rearranging shelves and chatting among themselves than assisting customers trying to spend money. The choice of football boots is a joke, 80% of the boots on display are for firm ground, it’s Wales not Australia, the ground is never firm ffs and don’t get me started on their range of rugby boots, 5 or 6 options. Rubbish!!

   This is the 3rd time I have been in this shop and reviewed it as I had to return shin pads and was told NO REFUNDS only exchange or a CREDIT NOTE which i think the shop is out of order as these days if we need a refund and not an exchange WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO RECEIVE CREDIT BACK INTO OUR BANK ACCOUNT I ask why AND THE YOUNG LADY DID NOT KNOW WHY THE NOTICE OF THE RETURN POLICY is so SMALL on the till so i had to take a photo of it NOT A GOOD SHOP AT ALL NO assistance to help you to look for things I had to walk back and forth the shop floor asking when i was walking around the store for someone to help me but nobody to be seen I walked to the beginning the of the shop then back again to the till area to ask if I could have an assistant and she just look at me and said she could not help me i still looking around for help than a lady come out of the back and I said could you help me and I asked her why is there no assistance anywhere for me to ask for what I needed and she replied there's one at the front of the shop as you walked in and I explained i was walking up and down looking but she didn't care i really love this shop But I will not be shopping in this store ever again . I will go to Cardiff town centre where there are more assistances and they make you more welcome than Caerphilly Sport Direct

   Visited the Cearphilly store today and was greeted by a pleasent young man at your till. He was engaged in the most exasperating phone call with another customer. Even standing away from the phone we could hear your staff member was doing his very best to provide the phone customer with the best service he could dispite thier inability to provide your staff member with the most basic curtousy. He did a great job of the serving us and keeping his cool on the phone.

   Decent prices on branded sportswear. Have found some really good deals on kids trainers/football boots. Experienced a power cut during our last visit and staff were helpful and efficient in getting everyone out of the store.
