Came in for a gait analysis and a pair of new running shoes. The staff were lovely and friendly. They went through the results of the gait analysis with me in plain english and provided me with a nice selection of different brands of shoe to try that matched the results. Overall great experience and will be returning in the future.
Popped in today and had one of the best retail experiences. I would recommend that if you want to buy a pair of shoes that you abandon online and go into the store yourself. The staff are so knowledgeable and lovely to deal with. Thank you, 6 stars for me....
Amazing customer service from Dave today. Fitted specialist insoles for my son’s rugby boots. Gave great advice and helped select between boots with us after checking the fit. Would highly recommend.
Best running shop I’ve been to, from the first phone call to check they were able to check my gait before travelling down, the entire team were friendly and very knowledgeable. I must have tried on 10 pairs of shoes and they were super patient and kind the whole time. Particular mention to Nick who not only looked after me superbly when supplying my new running trainers, he also then looked after my wife in the same way when we popped back a week or so later. Further to that we then saw him at a local 10k and the encouragement and kindness he showed us both the whole way round was simply first class. Nick is a credit to the store and the running community as a whole!

I found the staff in this shop really friendly (I have forgotton her name already) They seemed to know what there were talking about and full of useful information. They allowed me to try on a range of different shoes from a range of different brands with different drops and had an in depth conversation about my running needs and what type of running I would be using the shoe for. This allowed me to find a trail shoe that would work out for me in trail running and ultra marathoin racing.
A lovely experience, me and my partner went in looking for something and David talked through our running and explained why it might not be the best thing for us. Then video recorded both of our running and gaits and found shoes for our needs! We spent over an hour there talking through each item and it felt really personalised and helpful. Would give more than 5stars if possible!
Received a gift voucher for my birthday as I’ve signed up for my first ever 10k race. I really appreciated the thorough and personal service I received. Was in the shop for nearly an hour. Tried on a range of shoes, in depth conversation about my needs, videoed running to check gait and how different shoes corrected some of my issues. Came away with a lovely pair of trainers that I am looking forward to wearing for many miles to come. Thank you for sharing your expertise!
Oh my goodness, am I glad I went to this shop on a friend's recommendation. At 61 and starting the C25K, I decided to invest in a 'proper' pair of running shoes. Dave could not have been more helpful, videoing me jogging (can't really call it running!) to check my gait and showing me a selection of good quality shoes. The more expensive ones were my favourite however, they were on special offer, so I also bought some good quality running socks. This morning I went for the first run in my new goodies, and what a difference! Comfortable, well padded, light, a real joy. I was in the shop for over an hour, and left feeling that I had received 'good old fashioned service'. Many thanks, highly recommended.
