Aftersome recent surgery at the Princess Ann hospital I wanted to express my absolute wonder and professionalism of this hospital especially in the day surgery department. I was extremely anxious but I had over worried. Understandable as I was having a serious procedure. But I was reassured, comforted and cared for by a fantastic team of people. From my dedicated nurse to the sister I was in awe of all of them. I watched for about 4 hours as I was prepared for my operation. A team of professionals grafting away for a love of medical care and people. I was kept up to date, respected and understood. I have always supported the NHS through my own experience. In all my 50+ years of being a patient with various health conditions and issues I have always spoke up about my journey with the NHS. I have had one bad experience over many years ago but it was dealt with effectively and I was involved in seeing the positive changes that were needed. We are all human after all. This week I saw humanity at its best. Our NHS is loved by me and all over the world. What makes it work it's run by the world and for that I'm forever grateful.

I was in hospital ward AMU3 and am currently in ward C5. I am very impressed with the professionalism of the doctors and nurses. I feel like an important person here who needs help. The doctors, nurses, and all the staff are very kind, friendly, and helpful in every situation. The food was delicious, and the staff serving the meals were very nice. Coffee was always available when I asked, and something sweet to go with it. I didn't expect this in the hospital. I feel more at home here :) Thank you so much for such wonderful care :):):)

SGH is a massive place, though a bit tricky to find my way around at first, but the staff were really kind and helpful. Parking was a bit of a pain, costing about £15.10 for 12 hours cover.

I am very impressed by the service at Southampton Hospital. Clean, modern, building, helpful staff, seen on time. Everything seemed very well organised and professional. Parking a bit pricey. There are plenty of public facilities on main concourse.

Good. But public toilets in the main entrance were not clean. Care for my son could've been much better. They don't seem to know how to deal with a child with Autism. But care for my wife when she had cancer was good. And the parking is horrendously expensive. Still think it's disgusting that you even have to pay for parking at a Hospital.

I went in today for a surgical preassessment and everyone was wonderful! Hannah and her lovely student nurse were so welcoming and kind to me. Amanda Lodge took my bloods, and she was just incredible. She was patient with me as I was really anxious and panicky, and she made sure I was alright until the end by making me laugh and smile. Thank you so much to everyone who helped me out today, couldn't fault a thing :)

Staff always very friendly and environment clean, as expected. The parking however is horrific. We travel an hour and a half each way for our son's appointments and we always have to leave A LOT of extra time to park and also ensure that we have someone able to drive and drop in case there isn't any spaces (which happens more often than not). The blue car park in particular is a nightmare with cars basically abandoned wherever.

Went to Southampton General hospital to the Neurophysiology clinic for a nerve conduction test. First of all we got confused as to where to go, 2 people that worked at the hospital asked if we were OK and gave us directions the people were so nice and friendly. Once in the Neurophysiology clinic I was greeted by Ben what a character he made a a nervous patient feel at ease with his happy nature and jokes what a refreshing change. Very impressed with our experience. Anna
