Answered the phone even outside of the listed opening hours. Very lovely and helpful chap answered the phone, whilst the ideal situation would have been to leave the mamma HH and her babies in situ, unfortunately my dogs had found them first and rather noisily alerted us to their presence. Due to them being disturbed, it was no longer appropriate to leave them in situ. HH hospital were brilliant, arrived within an hour of me calling them, safely recovering a mamma and her four healthy babies. Excellent service really knowledgeable, even involved my children and gave them an education on hedgehogs. Thank you so much.

Absolutely amazing response from Andrews HH Hospital. I contacted them as i found a very poorly hog and left a message on the Ansa phone. A charming lady called me back and made arrangements to see my find. I had contacted several other HH rescues and this was the one that called me back. They removed ticks, tested a stool sample and then took the hog off my hands. They were knowledgeable, friendly and massively overworked. I'm donating to their charity right now. AMAZING PEOPLE.

Contacted Andrew's Hedgehog hospital this morning, I was greeted by a very unfriendly lady. She asked why I had picked up the Hedgehog in a very rude manner, I explained that I had followed all directions and advice given. Cardboard box Warm blankets Hot water bottle covered in a blanket I was more than happy to drive to Scunthorpe however her approach was so horrible I decided to continue to find someone else ! Found an amazing lady at Hedgehugs in pontefract she has taken him and assessed him, he had damaged his two front feet and also started to get fly strike which would have killed him if left. So we did the right thing rescuing him I would suggest the lady I spoke to this morning finds a new vocation !

Really know what they are doing. Helped save a little hedgehog we found in our garden. They are healing, feeding then releasing her fat enough for hibinating in a really people free place.

An amazing rescue centre! Brought a young hoglet here that my husband found at Whitley Lock semi-submerged in canal water and clinging to floating vegetation with no other hedgehogs around. Ronnie gave clear instructions over the phone and once there the hoglet received immediate care from the ultra-dedicated volunteer team. An excellent set-up with a clear philosophy and quality animal care at the centre of what they do. Thank you ladies!!!

It was the most amazing place with dedicated people looking after the hogs. The owner was extremely knowledgeable regarding the hedgehogs and shared lots of information as she looked after Pringle. I couldn't have wished for a better place to take our found baby hedgehog...he was very poorly and may not survive but theres no doubt he was in the best place.

It was amazing experience watching the two ladies who work there treating a poorly hedgehog I found. With in minutes of me getting there they had weighed the hedgehog diagnosed her and injected her with fluid and antibiotics. When I left Jilly the hedgehog she was tucking into some food in a lovely clean cage being well looked after. The two ladies obviously new there stuff and do an amazing job looking after I don't know how many hedgehogs they until they Are fit and well then they are released back into the wild
