“This groom room is so accommodating, I had to change my little Ruby’s appointment as her full groom was too close to her being spayed, so her groom date was changed she got an essentials appointment yesterday before her op on Monday, at the same time her full groom was rebooked with her normal groomer who is fantastic with Ruby, the young man that did her essentials yesterday was fabulous and managed to complete everything with Ruby, he even got Ruby to allow him to do her paw pad trim, and let him cut her nails, being young Ruby can be awkward for her paws and nails but this young man (sorry I didn’t catch his name) is a dog whisperer and did her nails I’m so grateful thank, you a very pleased customer A*****”

“We had to wait a bit, because vet was performing emergency procedure on someone else's little friend, but it's understandable. All staff was attentive, calm and friendly. Vet was kind, knowledgeable and our scaredy cat was comfortable around her. Clinic is tidy. Location easy to find”

“Always been dubious buying fish from these stores but we got some beautiful platys, guppies and cherry shrimp from here in the last few months. Staff has always been really helpful and friendly and the fish are happy and healthy! Don't be put off by other stores practices, Ashby store really care about their tanks being in the best condition”

“Stayed here for my time in Etwall and you couldn’t pick a better spot. The location is fantastic and the room itself was nicely decorated and well maintained. This is all second to the first rate service and the friendliest of staff, who were extremely helpful during my visit. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in lovely Etwall.”

“Stayed here for going to a gig in town, clean and comfortable, a short walk or taxi ride to the centre of Derby... staff are lovely, plenty of free parking and a buffet breakfast for £10.75... the scrambled eggs were really good, a good choice of hot and cold food plus there's a bar and the restaurant serves other dishes all day.”

“A nice hotel in the centre of Derby. Rooms were comfortable, especially the executive ones. The buffet breakfast was tasty and the choice was good. The best thing about this hotel was the staff. Every one of them were helpful, supportive and went about their jobs with a smile. On check in we had an issue with the allocated room and they swapped it with no fuss or bother. Fantastic service from start to finish. Thank you for a great stay.”

“Rachel was very welcoming , you could tell she loves dogs. Woody my Spinger Spaniel is quite nervous but she made a fuss of him and he was totally at ease. I was very happy with the finished result .Woody looked so much neater and trimmer. We will definitely be visiting Rachel again.”

“These guys really helped us after our regular horse feed supplier let us down at Christmas. Following an initial phone call on Christmas Eve, Sunday 24th December, our special order was in stock and ready to collect on Thursday 28th December, which was only 1 working day's notice. “I can’t recommend Lin highly enough! Lin walks our dog most days and Ruby absolutely loves her, the group walks and socialising with the other dogs. Lin also feeds our cat whenever we are away. We trust Lin implicitly — she’s professional, incredibly reliable, and you can tell she has a true passion for caring for pets. It's clear that she genuinely loves what she does, and we’re so grateful to have her support!”
