   Here for a beer festival so didn't eat, food including saw looked good. The beer selection was decent for a solo pub fest, several vegan too ( not marked as such i just know the brewers so do check). Despite being reasonably busy I rarely had a wait to get served and the whole thing looked well organised. I would want to return next year and stay longer !

   We visited at lunchtime and the staff were good although parking is quite limited there and it proved to be a bit of a mixed bag all round. Our starter of Chestnut Mushrooms on Toast was fine but did repeat a little over the afternoon. For mains I went with the bangers and mash which was very good with plenty of flavour. My lady opted for the child's fish and chips as she doesn't have much of an appetite and it was poor. Whatever the fish was it was virtually non existent but there was a lot of batter. I realise it was a kid's meal but even children should get some fish, shouldn't they? As I said, mixed bag

   We had a wonderful Sunday lunch - went for the large two meat roast and it was huge! Meat was tender and so flavourful, as were the other accompaniments and lovely gravy - very important! Our dog was made very welcome and there was a lovely buzzing atmosphere, possibly busier than usual inside because the weather didn't really allow for people sitting out. Staff did an amazing job especially considering it was so busy and they do a long lunch service. You'd be very lucky to get in without booking, a good sign that it's popular!

   A really lovely pub, with excellent food and friendly and attentive staff. We ate here twice this weekend and had their fantastic fish’n’chips and their Sunday roast. I can highly recommend both. They are also very accommodating for gluten free options, including gf Yorkshire puddings with the roast. Highly recommended.

   Managed to squeezed us in after the whole Bude being unavailable. And I am so glad we couldn't get in anywhere else. What great little pub this is. The staff are warm and friendly and the food was delicious. The Fish and chips were some of the best my partner has ever had, and the Sirloin was cooked to perfection and seasoned really well. Thank You and will definitely be back when we are in the area

   Great place, Beautiful steak, attentive staff a right Cornish boozer. Loved it and should have stayed for the Quiz.. see u in August. Here again and again fantastic Pub had Venison, and it was fantastic. My favorite boxer in Bude.

   Superb meal tonight St the Preston Gate Inn. Lovely atmosphere, attentive and welcoming staff, great food and so well presented. Wine list well priced and varied. Impossible to fault. Seating both indoor and outside. Next time we are in the area we will definitely book again.
