“Ordered steak , it was so amazing cooked and taste very nice! The portion was very good, couldn't even finish all chips ! There is no place in derby with same taste of steak. Highly recommended. Interior inside amazing, really love it. Friendly staff. Definitely come back to try something more from Greek cuisine!”

“A popular real ale pub with friendly and welcoming staff. A great range of beers including those from the Derby Brewing Company. We also had some of their burgers, which were very tasty and pretty good value. It's also very conveniently located near the city centre”

“I stopped by GDK on a whim and I’m really glad I did. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and even though it was a bit busy, the staff were still friendly and accommodating. I ordered a wrap meal, and everything from the fries to the meat was fresh and well-seasoned. You can really tell they care about the quality of their food. Definitely one of the better spots for a quick, satisfying bite. I’ll be recommending it to my mates for sure.”

“I was at town on Sunday and saw GDK at the food court, and I was greeted kind fully by the staff members at the front. I placed my order on the till and I didn’t even know that students get discounts! I ordered an OG kebab with chicken and my order came within around 2-5 minutes. The kebab was heavily loaded with meat and salad and the sauce made it sooo nice. I would definitely recommend people to come by at GDK, and they’re also giving at discount leaflets too!”

“Stayed her one night, also had dinner and breakfast Accommodation was first rate starting with a warm greeting. The room was well appointed, clean and quiet. Would definitely stay here again. The dinner was top notch gastropub with great service and food. The bar well stocked with great wines and real ales. Breakfast was amazing and well beyond the normal fry. “I ordered waffles today and absolutely loved it. I saw they have one plus one offer on their website and doubted the quality and quantity. When I got my waffle I instantly finished a whole waffle because the taste was heavenly. So fluffy and loaded with strawberries. Even the strawberries taste fresh and would definitely recommend.”
