Best Donner I've ever had! Not what you would expect from a donner at all, you can tell it's all fresh and made with a lot of care. The staff are also top ⭐
Ordered a doner and it was honestly disappointing. The meat was completely dry and tasteless, like it had been sitting around for hours. No flavour, no moisture, just chewy and bland. Even the sauce couldn’t save it. For the price, I expected something much fresher — instead, it was one of the worst doners I’ve had. Definitely wouldn’t recommend or order again.
I’ve been a regular customer at The Three Chefs in Batley for many years, and it’s always been one of my favourites. They were well known for their incredible homemade donner — full of flavour, not greasy, and clearly made with care and quality ingredients. However, I visited again recently and noticed the business has changed ownership. Unfortunately, the donner was nowhere near the same standard — very greasy, lacking the great taste and texture that made it special in the past. It’s disappointing to see such a big drop in quality, especially from a place that used to set the standard locally. I really hope the new owners can bring back what made The Three Chefs so popular for so long.
Ordered a Suffi special and it was amazing. Such a big portion size for what you pay for. Ayub was a legend, and gave me a free Irn bru can. Overall the food was hot, fresh and didn’t have to wait long, even though they were really busy. I’ll definitely be coming here again!!
Il be honest when I used to go to this place before the donner used to be very tasty (almost identical to spuddys in Bradford). However, when I have ordered donner today I have been totally disappointed …the quality of the donner is very poor and no salad. On top of that the prices have gone up for what? To eat rubber? Please avoid! I read other reviews and thought I’d still get a chance but this food is horrible. It is unedible!
The best Donner by far forget German Donner Kebab and all its hype and fanciness stick to good old fashioned no nonesense take aways such as this. The Donner itself has a unique taste due to it being made in house with just the right amount of spice - this is my to go place for Donner !!
Amazing donner- we got the special and this was so tasty. It came with sauces and salad and had a little bit of a kick to it. Staff are friendly and polite when speaking on the phone and also when you go in to the takeaway. This really is a hidden gem in Batley and definitely worth your money. We have eaten from here countless times and it’s always been a favourite because the quality never falters.
Travelled from wakefield to try this place after hearing about the donner. And must say wasnt disappointed. Nice staff and very tasty steak mixes and Donner meat. Good value for money. Unique style of food. Will see me again!!!
This little gem of a place is tucked away in a secret corner of batley...we have been coming here since day 1 & the food has been amazing - we've never been let down and always get service with a smile. The recent addition of desserts to the menu is just as impressive. Can definitely recommend their home made donner meat & chips...we won't buy it anywhere else now especially with salad and sauce.
