After a long hard drive, stopping by Sqew was a tummily time.. It may look like shawarma, but the Durum and Khobez, with its generous fillings .... Pergggghhhhhhhh (a Malay slang for awesomeeeeee) The friez platter and falafel.. yet another on the list that makes one burrrrrpppppppppp tummily happy And of cos, the awesome crew!

Overrated and overpriced. They measure the meat (150g apparently) of lamb and a very small portion of chips... with too much bland salad for £13.50, with 2 sauce pot Food was just okay, not bad but not good.... average. More chips and meat, less salad and better service is needed. Wouldn't come back.

I visited Sqew Shawarma Bar in Leeds very late one night, not because I was out, but because I was working late and needed something quick. Sqew came highly recommended, and I’m so glad I went. The staff were super friendly and chatty, making the whole experience even better. The food itself was excellent. You could tell everything was freshly prepared, and you could choose exactly which toppings to include in your wrap, which made it even more delicious. The shawarma was full of flavor and perfectly balanced, honestly, it was absolutely amazing. My only minor gripe would be that the meat portions could be a bit more generous. Apart from that, it was a seriously satisfying meal that hit all the right notes.

Visited Leeds, messaged a local mate for lunch recommendations & was ordered here. Absolutely beltin' want to come back. Would highly recommend! The owner just chilling out chatting to customers as we arrived explaining the menu was nice as well. I didn't even know what a super char was nor have I seen anyone dip into the lamb juices and that is mega!

Not a bad shawarma at all. It was well-prepared with a light, flavorful seasoning that didn't overpower the meat. I really enjoyed that the lamb had a genuine lamb flavor, which isn't always the case at other places. The portion was also satisfying. I'd definitely recommend the food.

Amazing kebab! Best I have ever had in my life. I'm not a fan of lamb but this lamb kebab was well seasoned so I gave it a go and the owner was right! It was delicious! My wife tried a chicken kebab and I must say meat was great, served with a fresh salad and amazing sauces. No doubt I will be coming back and I would highly recommend it to everyone to try this amazing food and I'm sure you will be back for more!

Bang in the centre of Leeds and only a few minutes walk from the station. Really friendly staff who helped me out with the options. Went for a bowl of humous, salad and lamb kebab. Delicious and the portion size was huge so it was reasonably priced. The sauces were really tasty too and came free. This isn't any old kebab place. Great quality, lovely atmosphere and has a 5 food hygiene rating - everything was clean and kept super tidy. A great find and lovely lunch that filled me up so much that I didn't need any dinner. I'll definitely be back.

Holy smokes, CAN I JUST SAY; WOW!!! I’m not even kidding this was THE BEST food I’ve ever had in Leeds City Centre by a country mile. Super fresh and executed to perfection. Mitch and his team have absolutely smashed this joint out of the park. Hats off to you lads. very VERY impressed. Exceptional customer service also. Highly recommend to all. Jordache & Chelsea.

This isn't a kebab for when you're drunk, this is a kebab for the connoisseur. Really good, so good in fact I went back for a second. The home made sauces really make it. Best kebab I've had in the UK. The hummus with the pitta is also great. Not cheap but worth it

Great local modern take on your greasy kebab. The food was amazing. You could definitely tell all the products were top quality. The lamb doner was very lean and did not have any fatty bits or grease to it. The chicken sharwama has the right amount of crispiness. The halloumi sticks were super nice with an amazing red sauce. You could tell all the sauces were fresh and handmade. The portions are huge so you definitely get what you pay for. The owner seems like a great guy and I wish him all the best. P.s. I’m not from Leeds so please open one in London!
