   "If you want AMAZING food that everyone will be speaking about, then you have to try Akkawi Shwarma Leeds ! We had their food truck cater our event, and it was the best decision we made. The sharing platters were phenomenal, giving guests a great selection and more than enough to go around. Everyone was absolutely stuffed and so happy with our choice. For the evening we had food served from the vintage truck, which was a great visual and talking point. The Lamb Shwarma is insanely good, and the chips were so moreish – not sure what they did to them! Great value for money and professional service from start to finish. Highly recommend!"

   My friend introduced me to this place and it’s the only shawarma spot I go for leeds. Great blokes top service and most importantly good food. If you need an affordable lunch spot that doesn’t disappoint check them out.

   It is our first visit. We tried the Chicken Salad Box, and the flavors were really good. Chicken shawarma was fresh and tasty. We had tahini and garlic sauce, but unfortunately, all the sauces were extremely salty, so we couldn’t eat the food. Tahini sauce is missing tahini, it is yellow salty sauce not tahini. Hopefully by next time we visit, they can make it better.

   Updated review based on more visits, salads very good with a much better range of ingredients compared to other local places. Portions a little smaller but prices also a few quid lower so all good. Currently on the way to winning my "best shawarma salad in Leeds" project. Falafel salad recommended, really tasty houmous and falafel have great flavour, even when round and not heart-shaped :) ********** Old Review: Fast and polite service and a nice range of menu items, the falafel and haloumi wrap I had was pleasant enough but a little bit bland / lacking in flavour and didnt have as many components when compared with similar from other local vendors like Falafel Guys. I wasn't asked any questions regarding the fillings so presumably got the representative default menu item. I'd be more than happy to try other items on a return visit but I they wouldn't be my "go to" for a falafel & haloumi wrap in Leeds.

   absolutely incredible falafel wrap. really reasonable prices (£4 for a falafel wrap which came with hummus, and salad in it, or £4.50 for falafel and halloumi. rice box is about £5). huge portions for the price and speedy delivery. bare in mind it is cash only but there is a barclays bank with free withdrawals opposite. superb and great for lunch on the go

   The best shawarma I’ve had in Leeds. I had the chicken and halloumi and it came with a delicious garlic dressing. Bursting with flavour and texture and a really good sized portion. Lovely staff too :)
