Had a great experience at GDK. Dhruv was really helpful and made the visit even better. The food was tasty, came out quickly, and was great value for money. I paid under £15, which is excellent, especially for a late-night bite after being out. Nice atmosphere overall and everything was spot on. Highly recommend.
The prices were too high for what you get. The portion of meat was very small and the sauce didn’t taste good. Definitely not worth it.
The food was kinda good but not like amazing, just okay. The people working there were fine but sometimes a bit slow. The place was normal, not really special or fun. Still, I enjoyed it a little :D
I am very disappointed because this restaurant is not reliable. I was ordering chicken doner kebab and asking about naan bread authentic home made or not . Cashier said yes , home made . When we were served with the food , we found cheap 'Tesco tortilla' wrap on our plates instead of naan bread . Cashier guy wasn't too friendly and communicated with his friends during our order. Toilet cleaning level is very low , literally so messy .
Food was very nice, clean hot crispy fries and tasty kebab meat, but slightly overpriced.
On holiday, fancied something tasty. Wish we had not bothered. Food was tasteless, cooked within an inch of it's life and re heated . Expensive for what you got, not value for money at all. The guy who served us was more interested in his mobile phone than making sure the food was re heated correctly. Horrible food, don't waste your money here.
Be cautious & careful when paying in house. Was charged £27.99 for a pizza w/ mozzarella sticks, about a tenner too expensive.
So firstly they took almost 2 hours to deliver and when the food finally arrived it was cold and wrong, the lasagna looked like it had been in fridge for several days before it was poorly reheated and served, this restaurant does not use day dots to mark the freshness, quality and safety of their product if they did the end result would be a great deal better. When I asked the restaurants manager to rectify the situation I was met with hostility and a total lack of liability. All in all my experience was that of low quality food prepared poorly and a hostile management, I wouldn’t recommend this take away if you value your money and stomach do yourself a favour and use one of the many really good proper kebab houses in town, thank you for taking the time to read this and hope it helps.
I went in here to grab a takeaway to take home for myself and my Fiancé. We had a chicken burger and chips each. The chicken burger wasn't great and the bread was quite stale. The portion of chips was tiny and with two cans of drink they charged us £17. It was such a rip off. When I looked at the salad I couldn't have any in my burger because it looked like it had been sat out for a few days and wasn't fresh at all. Plus when wrapping it up he just put it in a box and shoved it in a plastic bag to go, he didn't even wrap it in paper or anything to keep the food warm. It wasn't great service. It was just a lack of care really, which clearly showed in the food too. Only giving two stars as it was edible - even though the bun was a bit stale.
