Beautiful Italian, the ambience was perfection. Decor just lovely. Please pass my compliments to the chef for the best Arancini I’ve EVER had. Great service and the playlist was on point. Loved this place
I have been wanting to try Cena for a while. Upon entering you are not disappointed. The welcome, and the decor and furnishings are lovely. This has been well thought out to create an enjoyable dining experience. I opted for the lunchtime deal which outside on the board says Wednesday, any starter or desert and main £20. That was a very attractive lunch option. I opted for the Stagioni Pizza. And asked the Italian man serving me, if I could have anchovies instead of the olives as a topping. Initially there was some conversation about if this would be possible. But he said that he would ask the chef. I was not adverse to paying for these as an extra topping. The Pizza came, and I was not disappointed. I had a desert of two scoops of ice cream. I went to leave and asked for the bill. I was surprised by this when it came. As the food came to £22.50 and on top of that, I was charged an extra £1.00 for the Wednesday 2 course £20 deal. So in actual fact I paid £23.50 for my main and my desert. I would not generally complain. But I did point this out to the man who was on his own serving. He claimed that he’d never seen that before. And he did offer to give me the £1 back. I politely declined, as even with that back, to me it didn’t add up. Maybe the trick is to not be sensible. And go for the most expensive desert and main on the menu. I would just advise to check your bill before you pay. And maybe CENA can make their menu and deal prices a little more transparent.
Went for dinner with family. The place is very nice. The staff are amazing and very tentative. The food was beautifully Italian and so wholesome. The restaurant looks stunning with the decor. Totally recommended and will be back again for dinner
This place is absolutely Fantastic I cannot write how amazing this restaurant truly is, the staff are so attentive but let you enjoy your meal, they all know everything on the menu, our waitress even makes the tirimasu!!! The food is phenomenal, delicious and homemade!! The sign on the wall is perfect for the restaurant "come hungry, leave happy!!" Thank you guys we will be back!!

Fantastic service and atmosphere. The food was excellent. A++ for chairs - solid, wooden and comfortable. Personally, I wouldn't mind a more extensive offer of Italian beers.
I have tried to get into here a few times and we finally managed to tonight. The service was okay when we finally got our table. We were told they were really busy but the restaurant wasn’t full. The drinks are very expensive at £4.50 for half a larger. The Menu was very limited which left you thinking it would be very good with less options. The salmon ravioli looked completely different to the picture the sauce was a different colour and undercooked not just al dente. The pizza said spicy salami but the whole pizza was covered in chilli and slightly burnt, which made it ridiculously spicy and couldn’t be finished. Such a shame for such a wait to eat here. They did remove the cost of the pizza but no apology was made. We won’t be returning unfortunately.
We dined on a Saturday night, so the place was busy and buzzing! Still, the food was great and the service outstanding! I can definitely recommend their calamari starter and the hot pizza. The house white wine was highly rated by my fiancee too!
We've been looking for a 'go to' Italian restaurant since moving to the area a few years ago and finally found it. Excellent authentic food, good atmosphere and attentative team. Would highly recommend and definitely be back in the new year.
