“Had a lovely time at Denman’s the other night. I loved the atmosphere of the place and the food was absolutely delicious! It’s all small plates so be ready to order a few plates to feel full, it’s totally worth it though. The cocktails were amazing! I recommend Pornstar Martini cocktail, it was amazing and the best plate I tried was the Ox cheek. I paint places I visit and love ❤️”

“Really nice traditional Polish home cooked food, great choice on the menu which changes weekly. Husband & wife team both very friendly. Really good price for starter & main course & compote drink. They also have a choice of Polish beers. Not posh or pompous place will definitely be going again soon. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to try some decent Polish food.”

“Wanted to go here for ages. It's beautifully decorated with chandeliers and subtle mood lighting . We were offered a chance to get drinks at the bar or take out seats, which we did, and the staff were so lovely. They came with water and menus quickly and gave us the right amount of time to look at the menus. We ordered some wine which was lovely and the food order was taken soon after. The food was delicious, and the starter was huge. I had scallops in a bisque, and the 2 types of bread that came were warm and really spongy and fresh. The main course was cooked perfectly!! And we were too full for pud this time. No starter next time or something smaller!! This was a lovely evening, and we will deffo go back”

“We had dinner here before going to see the Lion King at The Alhambra. The food was delicious, we had a cold mixed started and a sharing mixed platter followed by some tea afterwards. All of the food was really tasty, I nearly asked for some more bread for the starter, but was glad I didn’t as I wouldn’t have been able to eat as much of the main then! The meat was tender and succulent! Yum.”

“Went here on a Sunday night with a reservation and it wasn't very busy. We were seated upstairs and the service was a lot slower here compared to when we are seated downstairs - it took us a while to be able to flag someone down to get water to the table (midway through the meal). Our starters and mains arrived very quickly and the food was good. Starters were good although the meatballs were a little bland. The lamb kubideh was juicy and delicious and the chicken was very good as well. Overall it was a nice meal for a good price.”

“We attended today for Mary Poppins and thought let's have some lunch. Theatre food I thought okay we can always get something else later. How wrong I was, we had 3 courses and it was some of the best food I have ever tasted. Every course was what I would expect from a celebrity restaurant and when the bill came I was shocked in how little it cost. I would love to see the 1914 website showcase the chefs face and name as their food is phenomenal.”

“We visited Rossini last night. Very easy to book a table online. When we arrived, we were shown straight to our seats. Tastefully decorated and fast service. We ordered the mozzarella started to share, this was lovely. I had the mushroom risotto, lots of flavour. My partner ordered a steak and he said it was cooked perfect. He also ordered the blue cheese sauce on the side and said it was the best he's ever tasted. We didn't have to wait long between courses. Very reasonably priced. Will definitely be visiting again and highly recommend. Only downside is, the parking is very limited outside.”

Right when you walk in, the place feels welcoming and cozy, making you feel right at home.The menu is packed with all sorts of yummy options. From the usual brunch goodies to some really unique dishes, there's something for everyone. I picked something off the menu that not only looked amazing but tasted incredible too. You could tell they used fresh ingredients because every bite was super flavorful. The staff at The Brooks were great as well. They were super friendly, always there when you needed them, and knew the menu inside out. They recommended some really good dishes and drinks that went perfectly with what we were in the mood for.The vibe of the place is just as cool. It's got a stylish yet laid-back decor, making it a perfect spot whether you're out for a casual brunch or celebrating something special. Plus, sitting outside on a nice day in Brighouse is pretty hard to beat.All in all, The Brooks is definitely a place I’d go back to and tell my friends about. I would suugest them to expand their menu to include Tawa platters, Arabic cuisine like Mandi and also some Noodles & Soups. They also help us celebrate our Birth Day party with nice chanting. The staff are so helpful and talkative - really an asset to the garden centre and I can see why it was so busy! We will definitely be back, the quiche was to die for! “Hands up how many of you have driven past this hidden gem or walked past it il go first I am guilty has the traffic that goes past it is unreal plus there is car parking to the left of the building which I never knew it actually says on the door before entry I noticed the outside has a rustic look to it which is a nice touch . Has I stepped inside I was greeted by the owner who runs a family oriented business with his heart set on Italian food I was feeling a lot of passion he also told me about his family history which I found intriguing plus how he wants to carry on the family routes also the place has a ground floor plus an upstairs with some interesting decor around the place which I found very nice to look at also while inside I forgot we were near a busy junction plus with background music playing now the important thing the food they have some cracking deals which you can’t go wrong with so if you like Italian food like pizza or pasta or any Italian dishes now I would highly recommend this place book online or give them a ring weds -Sunday they also a fantastic range of dessert who doesn’t like a good choice of desserts plus not forgetting cocktails or other non alcoholic beverages now where do I finish off the place looked pretty clean & nicely set out with comfy chairs with a really nice friendly vibe I can’t wait to call back on Sunday I am spoilt for choice I definitely love the family Italian roots you can tell you are in for a treat . Has I was leaving a guy in a van asked me if the place was any good I said call in when it’s open next & try it for yourself I wonder if he will hold me up to that.”

Located right in heart of Bronte village itself at the top of Main Street, it’s renowned for 'choose you own' cheese and meat boards; quaint stew pots (chasseurs and bourguignon etc); the rather fun raclette grill (pictured) and many more trad’ French dishes - even L’escargot for the more adventurous! Friendly staff, extensive wine list - most avail’ by the glass and dog-friendly, much like Haworth itself, it’s a warm, atmospheric hug from start to finish.”

“Halal chicken! Highly recommended! My son loves pizza and we found this amazing pizzeria inside the Market. Small but mega place. The menu is quite extensive, but we knew that we wanted magarhita, when we learnt the chicken is halal we bought cheese and chicken dough balls and chicken Pasta! Really nice to have a San Pellegrino Limonata with it all. We ate inside. The customer service was great. The young lady was really helpful and served us with a smile. It was a little cramped but that added to the atmosphere of the place. My 4yr old son ate 2 slices which is loads for him and we took the spare pizza home! We're very satisfied! I'm not from Halifax, but we'll defo be coming back for its price, service and taste!”
