   Had a lovely time at Denman’s the other night. I loved the atmosphere of the place and the food was absolutely delicious! It’s all small plates so be ready to order a few plates to feel full, it’s totally worth it though. The cocktails were amazing! I recommend Pornstar Martini cocktail, it was amazing and the best plate I tried was the Ox cheek. I paint places I visit and love ❤️

   We had a fabulous experience 15.10.22 We enjoyed a selection of the small plate meals - 5 and a couple of sides between us. Staff were lovely and very attentive. Atmosphere is cosy and relaxed - we sat upstairs. I personally think the 'small plate' concept is great because it offers variety. The food was great, not over facing but we felt satisfied. Can't fault anything and will definitely return.

   Outstanding! We visited Denman’s after it’s Relaunch and we were blown away. We are real foodies and we loved every plate. We love the social style of the small plates menu, it gives you the opportunity to taste lots of dishes, and they are great portion sizes. We ordered 2 nibbles, 6 small plates, 1 side between 2, and we just couldn’t resist the desserts! It is now a regular occurrence for us. We would definitely recommend, it’s a real local hidden gem! You can tell the chef knows what he’s doing!

   Took my son last night for a celebration meal, the food was outstanding. It was very busy and had to wait a while, but the food didnt dissapoint. We had a lovely evening, and to be honest that break between courses made it better as we could even fit in desert. Superb dining at its best. And nice selection of wines too.

   Managed to book in for a anniversary meal. Loved the idea of a blind menu...Not knowing what is on the menu until you arrive. Arrived to a small cosy restaurant. And decided on two starters and two mains and hopefully a dessert. Poppadom starter was very nice, chicken moist and full of flavour. The poppadom itself had a very very slight stale texture... The food is very fresh don't get me wrong I think the humidity got to it. Prawns Vesuvius, appearance didn't look special but it was tasty!!! Both starters are HUGE Belly pork main very nice!! The crackling was perfect and not salty like some I've had. Pork very soft and pulled apart with ease. Very generous in size. My preference would be a little more jus and mash was very smooth Lamb, cooked perfectly, although it had a strong *lamb* smell when served my partner said it didn't have the *lamb* taste and was very good. Loved that when we ordered dessert they had written happy anniversary on a board when presenting the dessert to us, thank you we though that was a very warm touch. Food very very nice, so why 4 and not 5 star, they are very minor little things... As I don't eat lamb I'm very sensitive to lamb. I think somewhere along the line of plating up the person must've touched the lamb and something on my plate as I tasted a slight lamb taste on my pork dish. As we didn't order any alcohol...Our wine glasses wasn't taken away like they did with other tables. I placed myy empty bottle of orange juice on the edge of the table to be taken away. It wasn't taken away. I asked a waitress to take it away when main course was served. It was there from beginning of starters and when main was served during that time we was asked if we needed another drink. I think a new staff may have started which would explain these little things. I would come back again and I do recommend.

   Fantastic little gem on the outskirts of Halifax really lovely tasting food served with a touch of artistic flair. The food is excellent and the chefs more than happy to slightly tweak his menu to your taste. More than happy to recommend and will be returning to sample more of the menu.
