Now under new management this place serves the best Sunday Dinner around. The staff are amazing, the outside space and views are second to none, and it's dog friendly.

We’ve been coming here for a while now and honestly, it’s become our go-to pub. We first discovered it after a pretty disappointing experience at the pub down the road, and we’ve never looked back, they really knock it out of the park every time. In the summer they had brilliant BBQs outside, and now they’re doing fresh stone-baked pizzas and Sunday roasts, which are both absolutely spot on. The pizzas are loaded with toppings and have that perfect crisp base, you can tell they use quality ingredients. It’s also super child-friendly, which makes such a difference for us, the bar manager in particular always comes out with ice lollies for any children in the pub and they really do make the whole experience, stopping for a chat with you and just generally making it a great experience. My mother in law and I went again tonight as I just had surgery not long ago and didn’t feel up to cooking. The kids were happy, I was happy and the mother in law was happy. Oh and to top it off great prices! No doubt we will be back next week, see you soon.

Happened across this pub on a drive and decided to take a look. Beer garden seemed nice in the sunshine but the food was tragic! Me and my partner decided to get a glass of coke each and 2 starters which at Β£25 seems insanely priced. Hotdogs were around Β£15 which also seemed ridiculous so we passed on ordering mains. Food came and my pizza doughballs were just warm bread on salad with cold tomato sauce… if there was any cheese in them it must have been hide-and-seek champion cheddar. It was flavourless and I felt robbed. My partner ordered brisket fries and there was so much gristle in it that it knocked her sick and we left her food and our drinks halfway through. Something got overcooked in the kitchen during our meal and the whole pub was filled with a really acrid burnt smell that was very unpleasant! Staff were friendly and the pub itself seemed fine, but outside of a beer garden pint I wouldn’t come back and risk the food again

Nice looking pub dog friendly, the service was OK. We got a table fairly quickly. The food seemed to take a while to come. They didn't have what we ordered, so picked burgers instead, but what we got was cremated and not very good at all. Left some of the meat can't recommend eating here.

Car park a little small but plenty going off here for the little ones. Plenty of room for outside dining in decent weather. Food very nice. Just a little difficult trying to manoeuvre to serve yourself, with peas and carrots going onto floor making it slippy. However staff cleaned it quite quickly. May be better with a full counter rather than rails. Nice day out.

Found drinks rather expensive over Β£3 for a glass of lemonade. Food is very nice, although two standed meals were not available. There are high steps to get in,so any mobility issues would be a problem.

We phoned on the off chance for a table this Sunday lunchtime and fortunately they managed to squeeze us in. We received a warm welcome here and the staff were brilliant throughout, as was the clientele. The Sunday carvery was quality and a choice of three sizes, all was cooked to perfection in particular the beef. Our first time here, but definitely not the last.

We had a beautiful Sunday carvery which we could not fault, all beautifully cooked and plenty of choice. Good beers and an all round good atmosphere and experience.

Tried a carvery for first time but wish I hadn't. We had pork but most of it was fat the roast potatoes was tuff some of the veg was hard the gravy was like water plus they put it on too smaller plate. We have tried the pizza before and they was nice but pricey. But certainly wouldn't recommend the carvery.....I'm afraid it's Toby for us.
