After being turned away in 3 eating establishments we found George's. I am so glad we did. The food was excellent. Our server Karen was wonderful and made our meal memorable . Thank you. We would recommend George's Restaurant over all the other restaurants in the area.
We came with a large group with several difficult dietary requirements, and the restaurant were excellent at making a detailed plan with us in advance, keeping everyone informed of what they could and could not eat, and helping us to have an excellent post-wedding celebration. Service was quick and effective, and the food was excellent. We had the Meze, which was extremely generous in portion sizes and the other guests all had great things to say about the food.
We were staying over ready for a cruise and found this lovely place by chance when let down by a place round the corner. The food is good wholesome fare extremely well made, hats off to the chef. The service was impeccable, I’m amazed how much one young lady can manage on their own at front of house all while cheerfully interacting with all the tables, a real star. Would definitely recommend.
I had been planning to visit this restaurant for a long time, and I finally got the chance. It’s a charming, old-fashioned spot, and we were warmly welcomed by a lovely lady. We ordered both starters and main courses. The Greek salad was fresh, though the feta cheese was served in very small pieces. The main course portions were generous and flavorful. The spaghetti Bolognese was delicious, and the chicken with mushroom sauce was excellent with crunchy chips. The lady serving us was friendly and kind. The only downside was the noticeable smell of dampness.
Very friendly place. Didn't have to wait to be seated. Staff were helpful with the menu. Food was served quite quickly even though they were busy.
Went for a friend's 50th meal. Food was amazing and reasonably priced. The staff were very busy but helpful and friendly making the experience a fun and happy time. Would recommend booking before going and worth your while.
Just been here this evening for our christmas family meal and to celebrate my grandson's 3rd Birthday, outstanding food and service as always, Georges is where we celebrate all our special times and they never disappoint! Lovely food, amazing atmosphere and very friendly staff.
We had a fantastic experience here for my grandmas birthday lunch we always come here on birthdays with a large table and the service is always fantastic, Harrietta is amazing she always looks after us and nothing is too much trouble for her. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. Thank you for making all our special occasions a great memorable experience.
Love this place, we are happy it’s back after the pandemic. Truly the best of its kind, food is so fresh and tasty and amazing value for the size of the portions you get. This time we had lunch offer and it was £23 for 2 huge meals and coffee and tea! Peppercorn pork fillet and chicken kebab wrap. Highly recommend to everyone!
