“We visited Toluca for my friend's birthday, we had pre booked our table otherwise we wouldn't have been able to get a seat, as it was a Saturday and every table was full! There was a live band which we all loved and it added an even better atmosphere, all the tables loved the music and was singing along. The food was delicious, I have an egg allergy which they gave me a separate menu which contained the allergies on. We didn't wait too long for our food approximately 40 minutes but the drinks flowed nicely. The staff were very friendly and approachable. They understood the menu and were able to recommend their favourite dishes and which dishes contained eggs, but reasured me with a menu. When the food arrived it was presented very nicely and tasted so good! As there was 20 of us and pretty much ordered different dishes to each other, nobody had a bad thing to say and we all had empty plates! I would defiantly recommend this place for anyone celebrating, date night, light lunch. As it was late evening when we arrived no young children were present but I have seen children eating at Toluca throughout the day time for lunch. For me the live band, the food and the great flow of drinks made this night a great night!”

“Celebrated my sisters’ birthday here overall a good experience! The staff were really friendly and welcoming, which we appreciated. We came to celebrate my twin sisters’ birthday and chose Comos because we thought both would receive a free birthday meal, but unfortunately, only one was offered it. That was a bit disappointing, especially since they’re twins and we were celebrating both of them equally. The food was good, and the ambience was okay nothing extraordinary but still nice. One thing we found a little frustrating was that they started clearing the food about an hour before the stated closing time.”

“You will enjoy this lovely bar. Restaurant. We called in for dinner. The food was exceptiinal. Many srlections of beers lagers and wines. Landlord welcomed us, reminding us that a welcome smile and chat is still available in pubs in this area Hope you try tgere veggue ootiins. I am not a veggie but it seemed a waste not to try domething differrnt. Just guve it ago and enjoy a relaxing evening or weekend treat. “Have been here a few times for a decent sandwich at lunch time. Got a fresh counter to pick from, bread pudding, sausage rolls, cooked breakfasts, samosas, chilled soft drinks it’s got everything you need. The staff are beyond lovely here, all local and really make you feel like you’re popping to see a member of the family, it’s really nice. Place gets pretty busy fast and then goes quiet again, very unpredictable but worth the wait. On street parking is a nightmare at times, busy bit of road so be mindful of that.”

“The restaurant has a cozy inviting atmosphere, which makes you feel right at home. I booked the Olive Grove for 47 guests for my daughters 40th birthday. I cannot praise the service enough. The team worked exceptionally hard to give us all a wonderful evening. The meals we're chosen from the festive menu (which we pre ordered) and we're super delicious. Nothing was to much for Salem, Jane and the whole team. I highly recommend a visit here.”

“Always love it when we get lunch here, such a great place. There's so much tasty food on the extensive menu. I can recommend any of the Mexican bits, the smashed burgers and the breakfast brioche bap with the in house made pork patty but its all incredibly tasty. You can tell how passionate the owner is about his food. Staff are always really friendly too. 10/10 recommend!”

Neil’s service was nothing short of exceptional and the food was incredible - we are still getting comments on how good the burritos were from guests now, even a month later! If you’re looking for catering for an event, look no further. The whole experience of booking buenas burritos right through till after the wedding has been lovely. Everything was perfect and would book again in an instant!”

“Best pizza I’ve ever had, used to get all the time but I’ve moved too far away now to get it. I’ve never had an issue with this place and I used to order nearly every week for years. Think I had to call them once when it was late on a busy night, they answered straight away and sent us a free pizza to say sorry. “Came here to complete my work, The rose and crown is a Lovely place in keeping with the M & B brand this venue is impeccably clean and very comfortable. Simon and Hilary were on duty today and looked after us during our time in site...
