   Came here for a meal with family last night, and had a lovely time! We were served on the bar by Simon— who gave great and welcoming service! Our food was brought over by Chloe and Seb, who also gave exceptional service. The food was lovely, and came out quick considering we were a large party. Will definitely come back soon for another visit!

   The food was quite nice - we didn't have high expectations as the prices were quite low. And the portions were quite big - we ordered from a 2 for £13 menu. But waiting time is a nightmare. We ordered 5 meals and we waited half an hour. And it wasn't even busy at the time. At the time I thought that maybe it's just a coincidence. But later I decided to order a cocktail. I've been told at the bar that they going to bring it to my table. After 5 minutes of waiting I went to a bar to remind a lady about my order just to find her talking with another customer and making 2 drinks for her even though she ordered after me.

   Came here to complete my work, The rose and crown is a Lovely place in keeping with the M & B brand this venue is impeccably clean and very comfortable. Simon and Hilary were on duty today and looked after us during our time in site... Both very welcoming As photos show this pub has great decor and many tables so can accommodate even the largest parties. Thanks to the staff for looking after us today... It's very much appreciated (D)

   Slow to bring food. 40 minutes wait and it was quiet. Some staff were good, some were moody. Beef ribs were excellent but hunters chicken were over cooked. Its mid range bit could be better with a better attitude from kitchen and front staff.

   Booked for a Birthday party. Great food and service. A staff member brought out the cake and sang happy birthday with us. We had kids and there was mess and the staff were great. The food was reasonably priced and there was a great selection of dishes and was I was impressed with the food. Spot on. Thank you Rose and Crown

   Visited on mothers day did not book but was able to get a table in the bar area for 2 the staff were pleasant and advised us that there may be delays with food. We looked over the menu and ordered at the bar our food came out in gd time considering. I ordered the vegan lasagne and my friend had fish and chips they were both presented well and tasted nice. A guy called danny cleared our plates and asked if we enjoyed our meals he was cheerful. I definitely recommend this place and will be visiting again sometime in the near future. Thanks guys

   Food was very good. My wife and kids have eaten here before but it was my first time. Might have just been the time of the day but there seemed like there was only 1 or 2 members of staff on duty. Because the mobile Internet wasn't great where we were sitting the ordering via the QR code on the table was very slow. Ended up ordering via staff member when he finally turned up at the bar.
