“We had El Kantina as the caterer for our wedding reception food. They were an absolute hit, thanks to the incredible Mexican food served from the coolest horse trailer—we had so many guests rave about it! As the bride and groom, we barely had a moment to ourselves and missed grabbing a plate during the night, gutted. But Laura, absolute legend, tucked a box away for us to enjoy later, that we were very thankful for! The food was delicious, the vibe spot-on, would 100% recommend!”

“Booked last minute for a birthday celebration. Was offered both a la carte and Sunday early diners menu, which was good value and had a wide choice. We had 3 courses, coffees, plus drinks and prices were very reasonable and portions large and tasty. Service was excellent, warm and friendly. Would definitely recommend.”

“We stumbled on the excellent value menu on a Wednesday evening. They have a banquet deal which is incredible value for money. Our group of 4 shared the food and every dish was good quality and really tasty. Everything tasted fresh and was spiced to our liking. The service provided by the young man who looked after us was much appreciated as well. Very much recommend The Red Pepper - especially after a couple of pints of Kirkstall Brewery’s 3 Swords in the Black Horse over the road. Thanks for a splendid evening.”

Staff were quick and attentive, but it was a Thursday and not many tables in at the time we had booked. Food arrived promptly and was delicious. From the décor, the welcoming, the cleanliness of the restaurant, the choices on the menu, the service, the drunk and not forgetting the food - just phenomenal!! Patient while we chose our food. Food was served on piping hot plates. We asked for a certain side sauce to be made and they provided this with no disappointment. The wine was cold and crisp. The starter was enough to share. The dish was full of flavor, nothing was over fine and I really liked the fact the skin was left on the fish. All tasted so fresh! They were near closing time and they were kind enough to allow me to order dessert. All in all I would highly recommend here. Look forward to returning to try more if the menu. Pork burrito - I can’t explain how much it made my mouth water - the combo of perfectly cooked mole pork and spicy mexican rice will make you order again. Not to mention incredible jalapeño poppers with chilli jam - masterpiece. Also, chilli and extra chocolately brownie slices - the best fudgey brownies you’d get in Morley. Would order again! 10/10”

Josh was an absolute star from start to finish, he went above and beyond for us and the planning process could not have been easier. The whole team at the Hovels were lovely on the day and everything ran so smoothly. The venue and grounds are beautiful and the cottages round the corner are so handy too! The food was incredible, so many guests said it was the best wedding food they'd ever had and there was plenty to go round too so nobody was left hungry. We also really appreciated that there were no extra hidden costs after booking and we never felt pressured to add on additional extras either! We absolutely had the best day we could've imagined and were so happy with our choice to get married at the Hovels ❤️”
