   We hired El Kantina for our wedding, we opted for a street food stall with a selection of regular, gluten free, vegan and veggie options for near 70 guests. The food was ridiculously delicious! We physically couldn't fit anymore in but wanted to keep eating and eating it - as big fans of Mexican food, we've tried our fair share, but this was without question the tastiest we have ever had!! The team were brilliant, quick to respond to any queries on the run up to the wedding, the set up on the day was exactly what we had hoped for, and we even got given the left over which we tucked into. in bed, after dancing the night away. 100% recommend!

   My wife & I booked El Kantina to cater our wedding breakfast in August, and from the off Laura was communicative, efficient and professional - giving us multiple custom menus to suit our budget and taste. We visited her in York before the wedding to test out a few of the options and were treated to a huge array of Mexican offerings - it was all absolutely delicious, and we knew we had made the right choice. When our wedding rolled around, we were completely relaxed knowing that our 115 guests would be looked after and treated to an absolute feast. Laura even brought my wife & I a personal selection of canapés during the drinks reception, which was a lovely personable touch. Thank you to Laura and the team at El Kantina for such a wonderful & unique wedding breakfast that us and our guests will be thinking about for years to come!

   We had El Kantina as the caterer for our wedding reception food. They were an absolute hit, thanks to the incredible Mexican food served from the coolest horse trailer—we had so many guests rave about it! As the bride and groom, we barely had a moment to ourselves and missed grabbing a plate during the night, gutted. But Laura, absolute legend, tucked a box away for us to enjoy later, that we were very thankful for! The food was delicious, the vibe spot-on, would 100% recommend!

   Our guests loved it, as did we, and El Kantina been such an absolute pleasure to deal with from start to finish. We wanted some laid back, fun and delicious food and that’s exactly what they brought ! We got so many lovely comments about the food and the friendly service. > Also an extra thank you for portioning up our wedding cake for us (which was not coping in the heat) another 20 mins in the heat and I think it would of ended up on the floor so these guys kindly got it sorted for us. > > We honestly had the best of days and we’re still smiling.    El Kantina catered our wedding back in April 2022. From start to finish they were an absolute pleasure to work with. Laura was really informative, provided quick responses and nothing was too much effort for her and her team. The team even came all the way from York to Anglesey to cater for us! Our guests LOVED the food so much so, they were upset to google and find they don't own a restaurant! It was great that we could even provide a similar banquet to our guest with food allergies. Literally they just went above and beyond and we couldn't have asked for anything more. Thank you so much. You helped provide us with a day we will never forget!

   As an event planner myself, I am used to working with a variety of other fantastic small businesses and suppliers to create memorable events and celebrations for others. On this occasion however, it was a private celebration for my family and friends over the Easter weekend in North Yorkshire. There was a lot of pressure for me to deliver a fabulous weekend for all, including sourcing some really tasty food. Laura was amazing from our first conversation at the beginning of the year, listening to our requirements, dietary request, location set up and timings. Nothing was a problem. On the day, Jack from El Kantina arrived on time at the venue with their cool trailer and created a real buzz for all the guests during set up. Emily did a fantastic job of looking after us all night long, ensuring we were all happy and full. I have to say the food was unbelievable, so tasty and fresh. If you are having a celebration, I would not hesitate to recommend El Kantina for their great service and delicous food. Thank you so much for ensuring we had such a fabulous time!    We chose El Kantina for our wedding and it was absolutely perfect. Originally we picked them during lock down and after the restrictions had lifted we were invited to a tasting session and knew we had made the right decision! From making this decision to our wedding day Laura had been in close contact, answering all of my questions and so accommodating! Move forward 1 and half years and it was our wedding day. On the day we could not have asked for any more, everything was set up wonderfully. The service was smooth with great choice of food. Guests saying the food was "inpecable", "delicious", "the burrito was filled to the brim and the flavour was unbelievable" - what more could we ask for! I would 100%, whole heartedly recommend El Kantina!
