Recently been refurbished, it is a nice local pub. At time of writing they have live music on the last Saturday night in a month. The person that played on 29th Nov was good.
What a pleasant surprise! We stopped here on the way home from York on a whim. It is probably one of the best Sunday dinners I've ever had. And the crumble was to die for. We will be back!
Had a lovely afternoon at the Pendas, myself and my family had a lovely tea with an amazing atmosphere, big thank you to Kerri behind the bar as she was really helpful with the menu , kind and couldn't do enough for us. We will definitely be back.

Busy lunchtime service 1 - 3pm. Lots of people ordering food. Looked and smelled delicious. ( drinks only ). Staff friendly and helpful. Gemma, Piers and later Simone. Really friendly atmosphere- good bit of banter between the regulars.

Great pub, staff are friendly and welcoming, great menu and prices are great and affordable to bring all the family and have a great time at not much cost.
Very nice pub. Nice environment and lovely hot food. Toilets are on the grubby side but rather clean. Food was quick and tasted delicious.
Proud its my local and would recommend 110%. Food...drinks never a problem and perfect everytime!
