“Went to Konjö for their lunch menu. It is where jöro used to be which is well situated for parking. It isn't at Cutlery Works anymore. The lunch menu and Kombos are really great value for money. We each had the kombo 1 with fried chicken bao, Korean fried chicken, and a side. Sides we got were the fermented s&p potatoes and the duck hoisin hashbrown. We also tried the beef short rib croquette and the prawn crackers from the a la carte menu. The fried chicken bao, the korean fried chicken, and the short rib croquette were especially fantastic. Love the ranch and chilli crisp on the bao, the bao itself is homemade and so fresh which makes it super pillowy. It's really nice to try a place like this and I think it's important to understand that this is a bit experimental. When we gave feedback to the restaurant and kitchen on what we loved and what they could consider, it was a really lovely discussion. They made it really clear that they were looking for feedback and how they can make alterations and develop dishes. Like I said, it is a little experimental so it was really great to have that open dialogue. Would 100% recommend coming and, if you do, have a look at the independent bookseller nearby!”

“my partner and i had a one off free few hours from the child, and we had completed a big job throughout the day so we wanted to enjoy our tea and have something different. the food was beaut, the timings were spot on, the service was great, all the girls and guys working there were friendly and smiley and looked like they enjoyed their job. i believe someone beside us must have been a little tipsy and had been sick. The man who looked like the duty manager on shift dealt with this perfectly and discreetly, hats off to them, brilliant example. well done team, we will visit again, the attentiveness of our server was Shanika, such a smiley young lass, very good at her job”

“Reserved a table for 5:30, rang at 5:30 to say we’d be late (due to traffic) & they were very understanding and completely fine with this. We arrived 15/20 minutes late and was taken straight to our table. Nathan was our server and was an absolute gem the whole time we were there. Was very accommodating and great with the kids too. Helped make my sons evening by bringing out cake and candle singing happy birthday. Food was delicious and kept on top of, nothing in short supply. As a whole, our evening was very enjoyable. Shoutout to Priscilla and Nathan for helping make our night a good one. Thankyou”

“Had a meal here with my family recently, it must have been a couple years since my last visit. I'm pleased to say that the food and service were excellent. We had the beef chilli nachos as a sharing starter, followed by a shredded beef enchilada, grilled lamb chops, chicken burrito bowl and a chicken quesadilla. All the dishes were well made and served in a reasonable time scale by friendly staff. The premises are quite spacious and we managed to get a suitable table for 5 people which included 2 children. My only slight criticism would be the music being played was a little bit too loud, otherwise a nice experience.”

“We had walked past Tequilas a few times but never when it was open, so when we decided to go out for dinner tonight we thought we'd give it a go, and we were not disappointed. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and the food surpassed our expectations. We tried some of the Mexican Tapas as starters and I could happily have eaten a full bowl of the chickpea and chorizo salad, for my partner it was the Mexican goulash that stood out. The mains were delicious and very filling, and I could hear my fajitas sizzling from across the restaurant as they brought them out. We will definitely be going back.”

They also do a wide range of cakes, pasties and drinks & even Sunday dinners for collection or delivery. Lovely staff and always on hand to take orders for collection or delivery over the phone.”

“A fantastic restaurant with friendly helpful staff, a great atmosphere and absolutely amazing food! We weren't sure how much to order but were advised by the friendly waitress. In the end we ordered 4 tapas plates and 2 tacos between 2 of us and we're very full when we were done. We also had 3 margaritas which were delicious. Can't recommend Pellizco enough. “We’ve came for Sunday lunch as a table of 6. The service has been impeccable, very quick with bringing the meats out. All the meats were super tender, especially the minted lamb. “Love this place! Well situated in a central location in Barnsley Town centre. Small enough to create a warm, cozy atmosphere. Staff are friendly, welcoming and attentative. Even though busy, we didn't have to wait long for any of the courses. Always well presented and extremely tasty. Even the drinks prices weren't overly expensive. Quality restaurant, quality food, and an enjoyable experience.”

“This pub is in a good location with a nice setting right in the gateway of the peak district. The Sunday roast and the dessert here was spot on, and the service is good and friendly. From the dining area, there is a pleasant view overlooking the surrounding scenery despite the carpark. Parking here isn't an issue, as the carpark is opposite and has plenty of space. There is also a play area and outdoor seating leading up the stairway to the entrance, with additional benches in the carpark.”

“Went for the first time to this family run business after a recommendation & reading reviews. This is the best kebab we have ever had. We ordered one chicken & one doner kebab. The amount of meat we got & the quality was outstanding. The sauces were amazing especially the chilli. The best chilli sauce ever. Now onto the staff. So pleasant & friendly. These guys deserve your business. Give it a try you won’t be disappointed. We are definitely returning.”

“Loved this little vegan gem. Friends brought us here while we were visiting nearby. It's a great place with cool decorations. It really stands out on the street. I love the name of the place and the menu is really unique for this area of the country. It's American soul food. Think vegan ribs and Mac and cheese. I had the Philly "cheese" steak sandwhich and I loved it. Their seitan recipe is the bomb. They should make a recipe book. If your not vegan you should still go as you won't get anything like this anywhere in the north.”
