   Very busy Thursday night with large Christmas parties; a good sign that it is a popular place. Our table for 2 was seated near the entrance to the kitchen and unfortunately staff kept knocking us as they passed. I asked a staff member if it were possible to move us (we’d seen a table near the entrance) and his response was curt and rude, stating they were busy! The manager had to apologise for his tone and attitude, explaining that he was stressed. The manager did seat us elsewhere but I feel that this experience tainted our evening, and no one came to check in on us for the rest of the evening. Food and atmosphere great. Loud due to Christmas merriment, which we didn’t mind.

   Very surprised why I’ve not been here in over 20 years . Food was at a great standard and all my party thoroughly enjoyed everything they had . Calzone Carne is highly recommended . Big shout out to the young waiter as was very attentive . I will see you again soon . Thanks.

   I have had this on my list of restaurants to get around going to for ages ...I finally did and loved it. Small restaurant. Really well cooked food with great service. I tend to judge Italian restaurants on there garlic bread, sides and fresh pasta.... they absolutely nailed it... extremely tasty carbonara. I was there with my partner and she loved all their dishes too. Objective opinion: very good! Will definitely visit again in the future. Good atmosphere. Good prices. Thanks.

   Tried this restaurant 3 years ago and it was fantastic !! This time round it was shocking £25 for steak and you get a sauce and frozen fries not very authentic really I'm my opinion I believe you really do need to have a rethink regarding your restaurant, menu etc Instead of cutting corners if you are serving fries make fresh one ,chunky home made and your sauces come on guys its gravy with fresh cream !!

   Sette colli is without a doubt some of the best Italian food we have ever had. However the rest of the restaurant does not do the food justice, the tables are really packed in and it is difficult to squeeze through in parts. Further because of this it is loud and lacks any kind of atmosphere, it was also uncomfortably warm which we suspect was also due to how packed in it was. The servers were polite and friendly but were always in a hurry and were difficult to get hold of. To compound this further, my partner was initially brought the wrong dish until we pointed it out, and then later the wrong drink. We felt that this resulted from the servers rushing off before checking things properly. Another small but important thing was the state of the drinks menu which felt to the touch stickier than a nightclub floor. Which raised concerns about the cleanliness of the restaurant overall. To conclude we may have the food to takeaway but will probably not be back to the restaurant itself in a hurry as all these issues could not be excused by the exceptional food.
