   I would usually avoid saturday,,well pretty much anywhere, because, you know, people. Yuk. HOWEVER. We booked a table and popped in for dinner. I have passed this place daily, but not been in for 20 years. But I am so glad we did. It was warm and welcoming. Bustling we good vibes and nice relaxed atmosphere. Not noisy though conversations were easy to have and hear even for my sister who is hearing Impaired. The prices are very very good value. Even more so when you recieve the quality of food and service that we did. Our party had a mushroom omelette. Ham and cheese omelette. And Whitetail scampi. All with salad chips and we ordered potion of onion rings. All beautifully cooked and presented. All freshly cooked but no long wait despite the place being full. The matriarch maitre de. Was charming engaging and funny. And absolute delight. The service people were smiling and happy. It was a light lifting experiance. They have good facilities and a large car park to the rear. The decor needs to be seen at the moment as it is all decked out for Xmas. Wonderful evening thank you. Menu top notch for main stream diners but also we'll caters vegetarian and gluten free. As well as other allergies

   We love the food here & eat here on a Sunday at least once a month. Lovely generous portions & great tasty food. The Fish pie is my favourite but it’s always hard to choose as there’s too much choice. The steaks are great & the mixed grill pictures here, is my fella’s favourite. The all day breakfast takes some beating too !!

   We came here for a Saturday night Birthday meal. The place was really busy, so I advise booking ahead. Im not too fond of ordering food from the bar but this is how this place operates. I had a lamb shank, which was really nice. My partner had a steak, which was also really nice. The main meals came quite quick, but the desserts took an age. Hence the reason for a 4 star review. All the same worth a visit if your in the area.

   We arrived at 8pm on a Saturday evening without a booking, so we has to wait 30 minutes for a table as the pub was very busy. Once seated we order a sharing starter and loaded potato skins for starers and a mix grill each for main.. All the food was Cooked really well and the mixed grill had lots of meat choices. (I did struggle to eat it all but all the meat was cooked exactly the way I like it) Drink prices were very reasonable for the area. If I am in the area again I would definitely go for another meal here and try something different on the menu.

   Really lovely country pub with great atmosphere. Lamb shank was tender and very tasty. Meat fell off the bone. Meals range from about £21 but are 'buy one get one free'. Paid £26 for two very good quality meals. Mint and onion gravy was so tasty. Will definitely go back

   This place has Plenty of car parking space . Inside is comfortable and nice and tidy. There is a large drinks selection. The food menu is good and all at a reasonable price. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We ate in there and the food was well presented and didn't take to long. It was very tasty Would definitely visit this place again.
