   After hearing so much hype about this place, we decided to finally try it and honestly, I have never been so disappointed in a restaurant. There were so many issues that I don’t even know where to begin. First, it took 20 minutes just for someone to take our order. When the food eventually arrived, it came without any cutlery, and we had to wait again after asking for it. The lamb chop was raw, the mac and cheese was extremely greasy, and overall the food was nowhere near the standard you’d expect for the prices they charge. On top of that, the atmosphere was terrible. The staff were having loud conversations about their personal lives and swearing openly not exactly what you want to hear when you’re trying to enjoy a meal. It felt unprofessional and uncomfortable. I’ve eaten at many places where I’ve genuinely felt my money was well spent this was NOT one of them. The food, service, and overall experience did not deserve the money we paid. Extremely disappointing.

   Meat and eat were in Leicester with their food truck, so I paid a visit after all the hype over social media, Visually, it looked amazing — a generous portion of thick-cut smoked brisket stacked over crispy golden fries, topped with fried onions, herbs, and pickled onions for a nice pop of color and crunch. Unfortunately, the taste didn’t quite live up to the presentation. The brisket had a nice bark and smoky flavor, but it was a little on the dry side. It also felt like it had been pre-cooked, frozen, and reheated — missing that tender, juicy texture you expect from freshly smoked brisket

   Worst restaurant I’ve been to. Paid £24 for a tray, wanted fries instead of mash so they charged an extra £3. 0 level of customer service or an apology when my order was wrong. Waited 30 mins for my food and the box isn’t even full. Would not recommend.

   Came in to meat and eat for the first time, food came out quickly and the service was very friendly. The brisket was cooked perfectly and was amazingly tender. The crazy fries were flavourful and had the perfect amount of sauciness. We appreciated the attention to details like the coleslaw and mac and cheese were cooked in house. We also tried the burgers which were also delivious. We tried two of the deserts, would highly recommend the chocolate fudge cake! Overall we were very impressed and would come again.

   The food was absolutely delicious and freshly cooked. Hope there would be opinions to mix and match the set trays. I would highly recommend this a place to try at least once as the price a bit steep for a regular eating.

   Had the meat tray platter for £30, I would not recommend the brisket was soft but lacking flavour, mac and cheese was very bland, and portion very small for price. Drinks are also at £1.75 for a can? However the crazy loaded fries were lovely and flavoursome.Also had a double o burger which was okay but again too pricey. The price for the food quality and quantity is not worth it :(.

   Hit and miss. We ordered a variety of plates (bbq meat tray - which comes with brisket, smoked sausage, chicken wings and a couple of sides, smash and bbq burgers, and smoked chicken) The good: brisket, smoked chicken, bbq burger are very good. All received good feedback. Smoked sausage was met with mixed reactions, but it's okay The bad: the sides were really bad. Loaded fries came with cold unmelted pre-shredded mozzarella. Mac and cheese is the same quality as one of those microwavable pots from Tesco. The smash burger is not really smashed - needs to be thin and caramelised, cooked quickly over very high heat - this was more of a regular patty. The ugly: the place itself is a little ropey and rough around the edges. Unclean seats, tables needed wiping down, don't even touch the condiments on the table (greasy as anything)

   Food quality is generally good. Had the BBQ burger which was really good and well made. Fellow diners had the smash burger which was a little dry for their liking. Brisket was very well made. Service ws also good. Menus were accessible through scanning a QR which was something new. Was contemplating 3 or 4 stars ended up with 4 as there wasn't anything to complain about. Overall food was good
