We just moved to the area and have been wanting to try this pizza. It does not disappoint! Incredibly good, loads of choice, and lovely owner. Highly recommended.
Great discovery today, Spitfire Pizza - a take out pizza of restaurant quality in my opinion, from a unique little shop in Woolston. Made to order authentic pizzas as well as ice cream selection. This will be where I go now! If you are in the area I recommend a visit.

Had a meat feast pizza. The base is excellent, and the pepperoni and chorizo are nice enough, but there was far too much cheese for my taste, and the ham is in the form of low quality watery cubes - i ended up picking most of them off as they were just spoiling the flavour. If you halved the amount of cheese, and used a nicer ham, you'd have a winner. Service is friendly and fast.

This is one of those hole in the wall places that just makes delicious food at great prices with superb service. All the pizzas are stone fired in the pizza oven and all the ingredients are fresh with ample helpings of cheese on top. They taste authentic unlike the generic chain pizzas. The ice cream is also delicious so we do the meal deal which includes pizzas and ice cream. The garlic dip is a must as it’s one of the best I’ve ever tried. Once you try the pizzas here you won’t go anywhere else for your pizza fix. The pizzas are individual size so we have one each but children would be able to share 1 between 2. Overall this is a real hidden gem and I always recommend to anyone who asks about great takeaways in the area.
Thank you very much. First time eating pizza from Spitfire today. Really friendly and great value. Traditional and fresh, great tasting pizzas. Definitely recommend over all other pizza take aways. We really enjoyed the ice cream as well, mango is a definite try.
