Work Christmas party. Nice environment - that's it. Food tasty... What I had of it. Starter - 3 prawns, a couple of shavings of iceberg, a tiny piece of deep fat fried bread and 3 discs of lemon. Main - Basically a bowl of mushrooms with 3.5 tiny pieces of beef, a quinelle of mash, 3 sprouts and a shard of carrot. Absolute rip off. I was left hungry and ended up with a Tesco meal deal. Oh and £9.00 per pint of peroni which incidentally was not a pint. Older male waiter ok but quite outspoken and younger female waitress very sour faced. Will not return. It's probably OK with the captive theatre crowd.

Service and food are up to par, a special place to enjoy your dinner, would be back if opportunity presents itself! Just be careful with Uber when getting out of there! Drivers like to drop you when they see better offer(s). I ended up paying 3 drivers and hoping to get reimbursed on one of the 2 that dropped me!

Made a booking at Soleto in the afternoon and arrived in the evening greeted with a smile and guided to our table and from there the evening was just sublime. The food and service was just unchallenged. I didn’t even Ben manage to take photos of the food because it was gone before I even thought about it! The recommendations on the food were spot on! Portion sizes were great and food was simply delicious! Best dinner out in years! Absolutely no complaints here!! Not the cheapest but here you get what you pay for really applies. I expect the chef is worth his weight in gold as was the server and the host! We will be back!! Soooon….. Thank you for restoring our faith that there are still gems to find out there! Shel& Jay!

After shopping in the city, we come for dinner as recommendation by Google. We are surprised by their food, their service and the atmosphere of the restaurant, simply but style. Their Italian cuisines are deliciousand we highly recommend the mussels, hake, spaghetti and desserts. Yummy!

Decided to have dinner here after a show at the Mayflower. Had some starters, pasta and shared a dessert. The food was amazing, heavenly soft ciabatta with pesto, sauce in seafood pasta was delicious and one of the best tiramisu we've had in the UK. Will definitely be back to try specials! The atmosphere was also nice, with soft quiet music and gentle light. Service was good, we felt cared for but not overly, which I always appreciate. It's a great place for a nice dinner with a date or a mate, highly recommend to try.

We had a delicious dinner last night at Soleto’s. Everything was cooked perfectly including my filet steak. I loved the fact they didn’t rush us through the courses, felt like a trip back to proper wining and dining just like it used to be! The chef even came out after our mains and asked us how everything was which was a really nice touch. Very nice atmosphere in there, music playing softly in the background but not loud at all (nice to not have to shout to your party at the dinner table like other places these days!) Only slight negative is that we did have to wait a few moments to be seated - despite the fact that when we had arrived there were only a few other couples there and we had booked, it was like that hadn’t anticipated our arrival.

The food is delicious and the daily specials are worth noting down. We ordered the lobster pasta from the specials and it was amazing! Waiters are super attentive and friendly as well. We were sat outside but they constantly came out to ask how we were doing. Highly recommended, worth a visit!

We stumbled across this very stylish and elegant bistro on visiting Southampton. When we arrived the staff were super welcoming and polite, smiling all the way through service. We ordered a few dishes and each one tasted delicious. We were totally impressed, the flavours were devine. Compliments to the chef. The staff also recommend places to visit which we did not know about. They couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Great value for what we had ordered. We will definitely will drive from London for a meal there, it was that good.

Excellent hospitality and gorgeous food! We visited today for the first time, and we were taken by the atmosphere and ambience of the bistro. Very relaxing, romantic, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. We had garlic bread, the veal escalopes and rib eye steak mains, and for dessert: tiramisu and chocolate tart. Beautiful flavours and everything cooked to perfection. Cannot fault it, and will definitely be returning!

Discovered this place on our first visit to Southampton and we were delighted! I can't recommend this place highly enough! We received a warm welcome by our waitress Nina who was very friendly and helpful. I ordered king prawn linguine which were delicious, so flavorful and the prawn were perfectly cooked. My partner had the sea bass which he really enjoyed. We also ordered scallops as an appetizer and they were absolutely delicious, just melting in your mouth. And the tiramisu..it was just perfect! The atmosphere was so romantic with the dim lights and the nice decor. We would definitely come back!
