    I’ll rate it mainly on the food — which was genuinely good for the price, no complaints there. The service was pretty much what you’d expect from a casual café-style spot: simple and minimal, but it actually added to the authentic feel of the place. As a quick pit stop, I’d definitely recommend it. You can tell it’s a popular local spot for the Asian community, which is always a good sign. Portions were generous, prices were cheap, and everything matched the style of restaurant it is.

    I bought this salan and I found a pice of plastic inside of the salan which is unhygienic. After eating at least 4 bites I felt like was going to be sick and then a few minutes later I threw up. And I would not recommend this place to anyone

    Me and my friends travelled all the way from Portsmouth to Southampton to get our desi food craving fullfilled. The food the is great especially their Samosa chat and Karhai is superb and the service is 10/10. Must try desi food in Southampton. Also this is our second visit will keep coming back.

    Great food - the best curry house for miles. Ahmed is always willing to adjust set dishes to the customer’s wishes. The food is terrific and very reasonably priced. Loads of choice on the menu too. It’s pretty basic so if you want tablecloths, linen napkins and flock wallpaper, this isn’t the place for you but it is if you want a really great meal.

    Chilli Flames is an absolute delight to your taste buds. Have been a regular here for almost 5 years now and absolutely glad to see the store getting bigger and better. The quality and the taste has just grown on me. Most importantly, the pricing is super light on the pocket :)

    Good portions, very good samosas as they are homemade. Lovely naan bread, decent curry and rice. However there tandoori is not good, I got a mixed grill and it was very dry meat all round and flavour could be better.

    Been to Southampton for shopping and wanted to try some authentic Asian food. Tried The RCF for the first time and I can bet it's delicious and tasty I could ever ask for . Love the food and the dessert as well the staff was lovely and attentive. Highly recommend!!!

    My first time using this restaurant. I don't know how I missed it until now. The food, from starters to dessert was amazing. Top quality ingredients cooked with pride and passion to create the best food. The portion sizes are huge. I made a slight error when ordering and the restaurant were more than helpful and happy to correct it. Also, the prices are fantastic. Go on treat yourself, you won't be disappointed.
