Good atmosphere, and attentive staff. We didn’t book a table and had to wait at the bar, but it was no longer than 20 minutes. The cocktails were quite pricey, however the pizza was tasty and large in size. It did go cold quickly, but luckily was given a takeaway box to bring home. Would recommend and go again.
It was ok, the pizzas are large but go cold quick due to them being so thin. I don't really drink but it seemed a little over priced at nearly £7 a pint. When we visited we asked if we could be seated at a space near the door and the server told us it was closed off, but when we left other people were seated there. The table they put us on was quite grubby, whilst other tables looked nice and clean. It just seemed they put us out of the way. They also charge you a service charge which i think is wrong, unless this is normal for England. Over all, I personally wouldn't eat there again. Most of the restaurants on the West Quay centre seem to be over priced and seems to be busy with a lot of students from the nearby university.
I went to L’Osteria Southampton with friends and we had such a lovely experience! The service was friendly and attentive, and the wait for our food wasn’t too long at all. The pizzas were huge, delicious, and definitely worth the money. I also really appreciate how they take the time to reply to each and every review—it shows they genuinely care about their customers. A fantastic place I’d happily visit again!
The food is so lovely, especially the pasta, but it is a shame that the manager (Eastern European lady with dark short hair) ruined my experience several times. When seating she always has a terrible attitude and is incredibly snappy? If you ask her for a different table she had no flexibility (80% of the restaurant was empty). Just bad vibes.
Lively atmosphere with upbebay music played at a reasonable volume, quick to be seated. Service speed okay, and coffee beautiful Pizza was absolutely huge, hung over the side of the plate, which did cause the cut of the pizza to not go through the crust so a little difficult to eat The Gnocchi was exquisite and will be coming back for more Overall a nice restaurant to dine in, reasonably priced with vegetarian, meat and fish options of pizza and pasta
Food always good. Service.... Every time i come, i have no service, they just show up to bring drinks, food and payment. Even they put service charge in the bill, something that i had to argue with the waitress cos we didnt want to pay it. In the end i had to speak with the manager, as the waitress was asking me to pay service charge.
Strongly recommend this place. We ordered pizzas, lasagne and ravioli. Food was served good and everything were soo tasty! We had a nice suprice from one of the waitrose! We wnet there for a dinner to celebrate my sister birthday but we didn't mention anything to staff. When we were paying a bill the waitrose asked if we choose this place for some celebration so we explain that yes. She and her colleagues came back to us with a suprise, a piece of tiramisu and Happy Birthday wishes to my sister! It was really nice as we haven't asked for it.
Pizza was amazing! Great fresh ingredients! Also a nice touch, they brought out a tiramasu for my daughters birthday without us asking or saying anything! Staff were really top notch!
The Pizza... So good! So Huge! When they say one can be shared between two people they mean it but hey means more for you for tomorrow's lunch. Pizza is a delicious thin base. Ingredients are fresh and tasty. Staff are friendly and helpful. Restaurant is clean and atmosphere is lovely. Perfect for if you craving some italian food. Desserts were delicious and refreshing. Perfect for a family meal or a romantic date
