Stayed nearby in the new forest. Our grandson is at Southampton uni so took him there for a carvery. Absolutely lovely young man took us to table. Loverly girl behind bar served us drinks before we were seated at a precooked table. And lovely chap behind carvery serving the food. The carvery was really yummy! Thanks so much for great service and food.

Had a wake the other Friday afternoon, only time I've been here. Friendly staff. Buffet food was good. Nice service by the staff. Seems like a proper pub. None of this gastro stuff. Plenty of people in the restaurant area having lunch. Round the other side was a pool table and darts we we played on. Seems like a good pub to go to for a pint and a bit of pub grub and service with a smile.

Such a lovely friendly pub. Couldn't do enough for you. Carvery was lovely with a really good potion of meat and the crackling was fab. Four meat choices and you can choice 2. Veg was well cooked and gravy had a gorgeous flavour. Definitely worth a visit x

Took my mum for a carvery. Lovely food choice of 4 meats, the vegetables were all hot and their homemade gravy was so tasty. Thoroughly recommend a Sunday here

Great Pub Stopover, very welcoming and friendly landlord. Was not doing food, as his chef was recovering from an operation. played pool, had a few drinks. would highly recommend. We had EHU, great for us. Would definitely return. Thanks.

Nice place, decently priced and not very crowded. Work outings can be held here with no problem, they've got some classic bar-games as well. Went here on a few occasions and always seems to be a good choice. Food selection and quality is okay, small menu but you can always settle with something you'll enjoy.

Great big car park for motor homes for overnight stays. There's one hook up but no water tap. But the friendly land lady said if anything needed filling up she would help. Food reasonably priced and was great the steak was the best steak I'd had for a very long time cooked to perfection. The pub a little tired interior but helpful, friendly staff made up for that aspect. Would definitely return.

Excellent value for money. Friendly staff, who remember you and spark up a conversation. Always willing to help and accommodate where they can with your food choices. The staff always make a fuss over our dog too. A genuine, nice, casual atmosphere with a choice of bar area or restaurant area dinning.
