   We had my sisters baby shower at the bittern pub even though it was very last minute they accommodated us with no trouble, very keen to help decorate etc. On arrival everything was prepared ready for us just to set up. Staff members were helpful throughout. And made all the kids welcome to. Will definitely use the bittern again for events.

   I recently visited The Bitten Pub and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. Some members of staff made me feel extremely uncomfortable, and at times I felt I was being treated differently, which left me feeling singled out and unwelcome. In particular, a young female bartender spoke rudely about my cousin (who is also my wife), and the way she spoke to us felt disrespectful and unprofessional. The whole interaction left me feeling victimised and it really dampened what should have been an enjoyable visit. I was also very concerned about an incident in the ladies’ toilets. A man in a dress using the facilities had the door open while urinating, and my young daughter witnessed this. Regardless of who the individual was, this felt inappropriate and raised safeguarding worries for me as a parent. Overall, I left feeling upset and let down. I hope the management takes this seriously and improves both staff training and customer care, as well as ensuring better supervision of the facilities.

   Always a friendly environment. Locals are so welcoming and service is great, with friendly and hard working staff. Great venue for music, whether it be live bands, DJs or karaoke from Thursday - Sunday ‘funday’! Beer garden is lovely in the warm weather, with plenty of seating and umbrellas for shade (needed if you’re easily lobstered like me).

   Kinda nice estate pub. I'm not sure about food, (if any). Prices were fine, limited but accessible parking. Was a warm atmosphere, and the locals and staff were friendly. They have all the satellite channels. Also there's an active entertainment program. Simple nice pub.

   A good local pub at the top of Thornhill Pk Road, it has a small free car park at the front. There is outside seating & plenty inside, where there is a pool table & darts. On a Friday evening there was a DJ playing all sorts, busy but not packed. Prices are the usual for nowadays.
