    Popped into my local and was really pleased with the service and the Sunday roast. It was mid afternoon and pretty quiet. I would encourage people to use The Station if you are in the area as it offers good value food and beer. From experience I know if we don't use these places, the big brewers will close them. Do be aware that the kitchen hours on the Greene King website are wrong. On Sundays, for example, the kitchen closes by 5pm.

    We popped in here on a week day at about half 1 for lunch and was very quite the lady behind the bar was so welcoming and friendly. The pub is very nicely decorated and laid out with a nice rear garden with smoking area. It also has 2 tvs and pool table and darts which is nice too see in a pub. We had fish and chips and chicken burger with a side of hallomi fries and it was perfect nice and hot and tasty and reasonable price will definitely be coming back

    Went there for new year celebrations as usually great. To find out when we got there that it was full of Travelers. Then went outside to then see a man beating up a women from the pub. For the bar maid to push the lady back inside and tell the man not to do it again. They let him back in! We didn’t get our free drink which was meant to be included in our ticket, the toilets had sick all over the walls and sinks. Toilet roll and urine everywhere and all the toilet doors were broken! Might be okay there for a pint during the day however I would not recommend going there at all for new year! I think they definitely need security as the staff had no control.

    Fantastic! Went with family for a birthday meal for my wife, Lip smacking Starter platter having crispy chicken wings and strips, Cheesy Nachos, Toasty Garlic bread and Crunchy onion rings. Daughter had the kids menu deal, Tomato pasta with side veggie, a fruity drink, and a brownie and ice-cream dessert for just £4.99, Good quantity, couldn't finish it all.. and the colouring kit and make your own Bottle bunny that came with the meal was an added bonus! She loved it! Birthday girl wifey had the Sirloin steak.... I sneaked a bite and it was cooked just as we liked it .. so soft and buttery... Chips cooked absolutely right, crunchy outside, creamy inside. My steak sandwich... Mind blowing!.. couldn't finish it and had to take most of it home. Yummy Honeycomb and Brownie ice-cream, Helps supports the Macmillan nurses, A good deed with a great treat! Service is top notch... Fantastic experience, would love to visit again!

    Went here to have a meal with my brother who had come down. Brilliant atmosphere and more than happy to have my 16 month son running around. Bar staff were friendly and professional and more than willing to interact with the kids and try to entertain them. Food was lovely and reasonably priced. Would recommend to anyone for a family meal and meet up.

    Since the refurb the pub is a lovely place to visit,food is nice and not to over priced the landlandys Nina and Karrie are absolutely amazing,all staff are lovely! They offer great entertainment each weekend,the family and I have had many a great evenings there
