I went to Argento Steakhouse for a meal with my friends and ordered the egg burger with bacon, I added an extra burger patty. When the food came out it looked rather appetising, the burger had cheese, bacon, egg and tomato sauce, whilst eating the burger I realised that there was not much taste in the burger itself, I took the burgers out the bun and cut a bit off and gave it to a couple of people on my table, they both agreed that there was zero flavour and the burger looked anaemic. I really did not enjoy my food and told the waiter when they collected my food that it was not nice and the problems I’ve listed above, I was expecting feedback from the kitchen and for someone to explain why it was like this. This was not the case so I spoke with a member of staff at the front of the restaurant and the gentleman took off one of the burgers from my main meal. My intention was not to have a free meal, it was to go out and have a lovely dinner with my friends to celebrate a birthday which unfortunately was ruined by the poor food and the lack of care from the staff also was disappointing. It seemed like I was on an episode of kitchen nightmares. The burger looked boiled in water. Was my first time here and would definitely not be returning.

Service was friendly and the waiters were always on hand to help with drinks/orders. Food arrived quickly, and was well cooked. Extremely tasty! Portion sizes were large. Restaurant itself was well decorated, clean and tidy. Would recommend visiting - great food and friendly staff!

A charming and cozy steakhouse, perfect for a special occasion. We visited for my partner’s birthday and were really impressed with the quality of the food. I ordered the T-bone steak, which was cooked exactly to my liking. Unfortunately, I forgot to snap a photo of the chips and sauce that came with it, but both were excellent. The portions are very generous, in hindsight, I probably didn’t need a starter, as I struggled to finish my main! We hadn’t realized it was ‘’all you can eat ribs” Tuesday, so service was understandably a bit slower than usual. Still, the atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, with most diners dressed up for the occasion. Looking forward to going back to try the bottomless ribs next time

We found this place while attending a gig in Southampton. Absolutely WOW. The place looks fantastic, the staff were very friendly, order was taken super quick and food served shortly after. The steaks are superb, the BBQ burger is one of the best I have ever had. Then came the shocker, the price? I had to check as I thought I had been undercharged but no. 2 meals were really less than £35.00 including service charge. Why is this place not rammed?

The are many different places to eat in the city. I avoid the chain restaurants because I want quality over price. This is an authentic steakhouse and I wanted a burger rather than the steak. I was not disappointed. I went for the “medium rare” cooked with chunky chips and a little salad. All very tasty and arrived in good time. There’s plenty of seating, easy accessible, clean restrooms and attentive staff. I would recommend you visit this authentic steakhouse for a better experience than the “drive through” of a maccy D’s!

4½ ⭐ Great Service, very good food, I had the Ribeye and the Mac and cheese, the ribeye was cooked to order and the Mac and Cheese was very flavorful. Will definitely come back again. The servers were very friendly and made you feel welcomed.

It was an awful experience. The food was dreadful - I could not eat the meat, as it was like elastic (sinew). The service was non-existent. The only way to get a drink, was to go to the bar. To be fair, the barman brought it it to our table. The sad thing is, that we spent some time selecting our place of choice to eat

For a place that offers Tuesday all u can eat ribs at a lower than regular price, one would think the management has perfected this item. Yes they did, in a lazy and lousy manner. I would cook my rib in this fashion: slightly trim, season or marinate the rib; slow cook to 95% in oven un-covered; for each order, charbroiled the room temperature precooked rib while brushing the choice of sauce on it. I would expect an open fire grill in a steak house. The one I ate borderlined without salt on the meat, and (overly cooked) dry. I can understand baby back rib is more expensive. As a diner paying 20 quids, I rather have ONE quality rack than 1 & half quantity. If it is not a huge bother to your line cook, would you serve the baked potato not on the side please. It is a nuisance to deliver a morsel of potato from a side plate. I was also surprised at a rare-done steak served to one of my accompanions. There was no clear crossed grill mark. Likely, the steak was turned over so many times. Or you did not set your grill with different heat zone. I will also suggest to prepare your 'seafood platter', as called by your waiter, differently. Zarzuela (in the last picture) is a stew into which the chef can add raw ingredients at different/appropriate time. The one you served is definitely not a stew. Different seafood items required to be treated/cooked properly before mixing into a sauce. I hate eating raw squid and chewy shrimp from the same dish, while the salmon fillet has the right texture. Please advertise if u shall adjust your food preparation. I would like to come again for the family atmosphere and lovely authentic attire of your serving staff, (disappointed with the house manager who dressed so differently).

Tasty burger. Was asked how I wanted it cooked, went for medium/rare. It arrived well done. Service was slow (even on a quiet night). It was a huge portion and the team happily parceled it up soon could take it home.
