Simply one of the best restaurants in Winchester. A hidden gem. Amazing food. Great staff and great venue. Plenty of seating. Food cooked in open kitchen. Steaks to rival any London steakhouse. Prices are reasonable but what you would exepct in Winchester. Parking at nearby Chesil Street carpark a short 5 minute walk away. Can't recommend this place anymore.. a must try.

First things first, the napkins were amazing! Very soft and premium. Noticeably better than any napkin I've used before. Now, the food left us feeling underwhelmed for the price and setting of the restaurant. The limited dinner menu is a double edged sword when it comes to ordering. It didn't feel like we were seeing a boost in quality for such a reduced menu.

Visiting Winchester for a weekend and booked a table here as it was close to our airbnb. What a find! The most lovely welcome and they were more than prepared for my milk and gluten intolerance. They had a separate menu for each which I could compare to ensure both were covered. Unlike a lot of restaurants, I didn’t feel my choices were compromised due to my intolerances and there was so much choice. A member of staff talked me through the options and explained what adaptions had been made compared to main menu. Each dish was lovely! Deco warm, relaxed and cosy. Didn’t feel rushed and service was perfect. Would highly recommend!

We were recommended by the sister restaurant and I'm so glad we were, start to finish we experienced amazing service, hospitality and an experience to not be forgotten. The food was absolutely delicious, crab starter and burrata starter were amazing, but it didn't stop there, we had the sirloin and just wow! Great ambience, good local food, attentive service…what more do you need? Brought to you by the people who own Christ Rectory…so great pedigree there. All the food we had on this visit was excellent - I had a rump of lamb which was perfectly cooked…just a little pink. I paired it with the chimmichurri sauce, some potatoes and roasted beets, which were shared with my friends…YUM. Desserts were good too - I had a blackberry cobbler, which honestly wasn’t really wasn’t a cobbler at all by my definition, but was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS.

We visited Inn The Park recently and thoroughly enjoyed an evening out in this beautiful restaurant. We dined in the Mustard Room, which had a bit of a more subdued ambience, but there certainly was more of a party atmosphere to the other dining spaces. The service was fantastic, very friendly, warm and attentive, and that really shone through.
We started off with the Charcuterie Board, which was incredible. The quality was amazing, and a lot of it is locally sourced too. For main we both enjoyed Pork chops which were nice, but I felt the accompanying sauce and salad didn’t massively show off the cut of meat. The desserts, however, was where it was at. I’ve never seen a dessert menu where I could have had every single thing! I settled on the Chocolate Pave which was incredibly decadent and delicious, and my partner had the cheesecake, which was beautiful and a bit more fresh than my deep chocolatey pudding.
If you’re looking for a fun night out with a partner or friends, then Inn The Park is a ‘must visit’. The food, ambience and the drinks were stunning, and the service was marvellous! We will be back.
