Since we have been using Royal Fish Bar we don't go anywhere else now! Lovely food and always nice service. Would recommend
Have had very good quality food before and left excellent reviews, but tonight's food was very poor quality. Fish tasted nice, but Batter was soggy, chips were not cooked properly and food was cold. Not good quality and not a happy customer.
We ordered on deliveroo waited over 1hr and 40 minutes for the restaurant to cancel the order no phone call just a message from deliveroo. This was for my childrens dinner absolutely disgusting after seeing all the good reviews. And the restaurant only use there own delivery drivers not ones on deliveroo so can't even pass the blame.
This fish and chip shop is a real gem! The fish was fresh, with a light and crispy batter that wasn’t to greasy but also not greasy at all it was just the perfect amount of grease. The chips were perfectly cooked andfluffy on the inside and golden brown on the outside. Filled in a nice glaze of salt and vinegar which was great because other places always game me so much but this one had just the right amount. I also ordered a hot dog and i get really picky when it comes to have a well cooked hot dog but this one was on point and was excellent. It was nice and soft on the inside and the bread fekt like itvwas just melting in my mouth so it wasn’t so chewy:) the pricing on there goood was also extremely fantastic because whenever I order food it’s always very high pricing but this pricing was very much fair for there delicious food and even the delivery fee was very extraordinary cheap what a delicacy to eat from here. It's clear they take pride in what they do. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this is the perfect spot for a classic fish and chip meal. Highly recommended!
I work come here to start work and I was very nervous but when coming here I felt welcomed and the staff here were very nice and welcoming and kind and friendly and when serving customers I could see that the staff made good connections and community with the customers here at royal fish bar. The staff here are very kind and helpful to the people who come in a order and have very well spoken simple manners like: have a good day, see you late thank you, how are you, and simple things like these and they seem to grow a connection with each and every loyal customer and have conversations abt there lifes which is nice because a lot of other places don’t do this it’s a great community. I also personally beileve the prices of there food were really good as most fish and chips shops I have been in have been much more expensive for there fish and there other foods but when I saw the prices on this one I was quite surprised. Now on to the food I quite love there food here I’m not even going to lie it’s really good and when bringing it home to my parents who don’t love fish and chips they very much liked this one and my grandparents also loved there food when I bought home some food for them to. So everyone should come in and eat food from our amazing royal fish bar :).

Overcharged me (stole from me) Cod was soggy along the whole fish, not crispy at all. Chips were soggy too, yet they had no Salt and Vinegar (which I asked for) Ketchup tasted horrible and Curry sauce was too sticky. Everything was very poor.
I ordered a chilli and chicken curry jacket potato and was very disappointed to discover that the chicken curry didn’t have any chicken in it & my sister said her chilli was just salsa no mince or beans to be found in it. The owner did seem nice when I first went in though. I wouldn’t recommend the jacket potatoes.
Ate from here for the 1st time tonight. Food all really tasty. Great chips and curry sauce. Had a large chips but were more like a small! Always disappointing still being hungry after eating your dinner.
