“We used the private dining suite for my mum and dad’s 30th wedding anniversary dinner. Around 30-35 guests attended and the room was perfectly spacious for this party size. In the weeks leading up to the dinner, Craig was fantastic at staying in touch regarding meal choices, welcome drinks and more. The team on the day were fantastic and the food was served exactly on the time we asked for. Overall, it’s a fantastic venue for a small gathering and guarantees good food, reasonably priced drinks and service with a smile. We will definitely be using again in the future!”
“Dopped by fr a quiet drink but found a whole laid back jam session... guys n girls wr brilliant and the music just really chilled me out..”
“Smashing pub, lovely friendly staff. Food was excellent (especially steak pie)and the atmosphere was brilliant. Prices were surprising for a west end pub too, very cheap compared to Byars road pubs.”
“Visiting the area from Australia. Looking for a late lunch after shopping. Lovely venue. Terry was very helpful and efficient. Lovely lunch. Highly recommend.”

“We had a lovely family meal here - I had the fig and Parma ham pizza and my husband had chicken Milanese. Our boys children’s 3 course meal also very substantial and enjoyed by them. House wine very nice. Saturday had live music in the early evening / late afternoon which was very enjoyable”
“Great food, including vegetarian options, excellent service (thanks Luke and Steven) in a lovely environment, so definitely a great choice for a nice meal!”

“Superb Everything about the visit is perfect as expected. I have been on multiple occasions, often for breakfast and everytime service has been great. Informative and Friendly staff, served with a smile. The food has always been a very good standard. Will visit again.”
“Excellent value for money. Tasty standard pub food. Good lunch deals too. Interesting variety of cocktails. In summer you can sit out at the front or go to quieter beer garden at the back.”
“This pub is one the best pubs a person can experience. The team were on the ball, Adam charismatically introduced himself and gave excellent service. Lesley was always there to to check if we needed a drink. 10/10 will ne coming back”
“I have used this Beefeater for 3 weekends, while staying at the hotel next door. The service and staff were excellent. Very welcoming, friendly and a relaxed atmosphere. Pauline is amazing, one breakfast in particular, it was packed and yet she ensured everyone was attended to, all their needs were met and all with a smile on her face. Thank you! X”
“Good choice on the menu for great prices. I had the surf & turf, it was delicious. The staff were lovely, really pleasant & helpful. Thank you!”
“Loved it, the place was excellent and made me think how much my local address needs a Weatherspoons. The service was excellent and very friendly. The food (Fish n Chips and Chilli) was better than I expected to be honest as I wasn't really expecting it to be so tasty. The atmosphere was very friendly as I spoke to a couple of customers and staff about the fact it was 35 years since my last visit, when I worked in Barr and Stroud. Weatherspoons is such an asset to have on your doorstep and I wish we had one in Blantyre.”
“Staff were all lovely, and food good, all staff acknowledged the kids everytime they said hiya 19273 times I think the manager was the guy showing us to table and come a chatted to the kids prompted them into finishing all their dinner for ice cream which was a great help, never a bad experience here thank you”
“Attended for my friends 60th celebrations. I was very surprised at size of the pub. We entered Via pub entrance, bar manager kindly directed us to to private function room. The room was good size, with its own bar, dance floor, DJ set up, toilets. Down from function room there is open space to set buffet up. Prices average £6.75 for one orange juice and 1 non alcohol beer. Staff polite and friendly. Only downside location, If you do not drive not easy to get to. Which showed when we left, as at 23.00 the pub itself was empty. For function room hire 10/ 10.”
“Food is usually lovely !! However last week got lamb china large chicken pakora the curry was amazing but could not bite through the pakora the chicken was so hard .i did try and call back but that’s another issue sometimes you can’t get through .even for delivery .just thought I should mention this as I am sure yous will check the App to check your reviews.”
“Great pub, great service, brilliantly run. Came in on Thursday evening and not as busy as expected but got busier when we were in and I must admit the teams level of attentiveness didnt falter, they still kept on top of everything. The manager on shift who i was later told was the pub manager, worked as hard if not harder than everyone else to show how to lead from the front and by example. It was refreshing to see especially after our previous visit to another venue close by. I must say it is hard to believe they are the same company with the same standards etc. Like night and day and I know which one i will be frequenting in future.”
“We ordered food from here for our evening reception of our wedding. Adam was so helpful and advised us of what to order. The food was gone in minutes and everyone raced about it. Delivered exactly when I had asked for it to be. Outstanding service as always. Whether you are ordering for a home delivery or a function, I would always recommend these guys. Thank you. X”
“Visited the Marmalade pot with a large group of adults and children. Service was great and efficient with friendly staff. Food waa delicious and great portion sizes. Will definitely be back. Soft play was an added bonus for keeping the kids entertained, it was also clean and well run.”
“Been my local since the pope was an alter boy.good service, good banter, good pint of Guinness”
“Got a grill box, with their mild sauce, words can't describe, was 10/10”
“The burger was delicious. Well seasoned, meaty and cooked perfectly. The two good sized pieces of briskst were tender and smokey, and the chicken wings sticky, tender and plentiful. Good food at a fair price, with friendly service in a relaxing, pleasant environment.”
“My wife and I LOVE the restaurant Pickled Ginger on Argyle Street Glasgow. We were advised that they had relocated a limited menu to the Cranside Kitchen as part of their response to COVID 19. FOOD We booked and turned up not expecting to have the flexibility to choose from 3 other restaurants (Rioja, Halloumi and can't remember the other!) We stuck to our original choice and didn't regret it. ALL the food (yes, ALL OF IT) was DELICIOUS! The loaded Kimchi fries were spicy but not overly so. The katsu chicken was generous in its portion and the pumpkin Tonkatsu was also delicious. Best Salmon Sashimi we've ever had also. The best Chocolate Mochi and Baklava we've ever had!!! AMBIANCE We were sat by the window and upon arrival could have day outside if we wanted to. The view of the Clyde side was lovely. PARKING Final thing, the restaurant give you free all day parking upon arrival so that you don't need to worry about paying for a car park space. They take your vehicle registration. NEGATIVE (ONLY 1) My only negative is that a large soft drink is £3.50 or £2.50 for a regular soft drink. This is where most of our £10 per head eat out government discount was spent as we had 2 large soda water and limes each.”
